Didn’t adequately compensate, $9 more than compensation to have item delivered that was missing
I have had an issue with this app for two months. I have asked for support to get back to me and no one has reached out. RIP Caviar customer service.
Promos do not work that lil TENONFOOD does not work and I find that very weird because the app is literally telling you to use the code.
I used to love this app but their customer service has gone downhill immensely. On two separate occasions my food was over an hour late and customer service was rude and unresponsive. In one of the cases they cancelled my order when I asked them not to (wasting 2 hours of my time) and gave me a refund without so much as an apology; on similar services (seamless etc) they give at least extra credits.
Great thing to use if you want great food at home. Concede on the fees and just order some good food. Love it.
One of the great things about Caviar is that you can schedule orders in advance. I scheduled an order on 12/23 for delivery at 6 pm the next day, Christmas Eve. I’m housebound and wanted to buy a nice meal for my caregiver so they wouldn’t have to cook. I gave a good tip, too, since the driver would be working on a holiday. When I received a confirmation that had two different delivery dates and two different prices I immediately contacted customer support to confirm delivery for the next day. I was kept on hold for a long time, and before we could resolve the issue the driver arrived with my order. I really didn’t want to spend $160 on Christmas dinner for two that would have to be reheated in the microwave because it was delivered a day early. Customer service tried to tell me that I selected ASAP instead of schedule in advance which is absolutely not the case. I triple checked with my caregiver that 6 pm (the next day) would work, and the delivery confirmation was estimated for 7:30 pm same day. In the end the rep I chatted with was only authorized to refund $20 for the delivery fee and service charge. But I was still out the tip and stuck with an expensive meal I had no use for. Very disappointing. Will order directly from the restaurant in the future.
Quality and customer service has gone way down. Prices have gone up, but food often arrives late and is cold.
The first picture on the AppStore says “TENONFOOD” promo code for $10 off first order. Downloaded this worthless swine app and attempted to place an order using the lying promo, only to find out it says the promo is unavailable. Tried multiple merchants with multiple dollar amounts. Worthless swine app. App developers should be fined for false marketing
You have far too many delivers who do not speak English. Everything has to be translated through the phone and they do not understand the directions of how to make the delivery. Unfortunately, you are the only delivery service that delivers this particular restaurant to me so I am forced to always use you. But there has never been a delivery without a complication and you never make it easy to contact you directly so that you can straighten it out. We will find out how it goes today, but I don’t feel confident about it. Additionally, I’m always stuck making the tip that I make, which is always 15%, but then when I am dissatisfied with the delivery, I am not allowed to reduce that amount.
