I have had this app for a year and to start it was great now though I turn the app on and I have no sound at all it takes someone to call me for 5 mins then I have to reload the app when it stops crashing then the dual Mike just will not connect I’ve had enough of this stupid app and I am going to give up on it I just can’t be bothered with it any more which is a shame as when it works it’s a great app but just lately I’ve had nothing but trouble with it midland need to sort it out

I have sent the code several times via sms and got nothing back to validate the use of the app it’s just a way of making money out of sms

Poor favouritism don’t get in to a group with dowie and Stuart (baby google) as people have nicked named him

Seeing as my first review got removed. I can only think it was GayJay From Corby LOL. Pathetic. This app is great. Just don't get in a channel with Jay from Corby. He's deffo got screws loose

Can’t get by the sms authentication part. SMS doesn’t send to the number and the WhatsApp also does absolutely nothing. Just wasted my time 🤷🏻‍♂️ in short this app doesn’t work

As an old school CB user I was excited to find this and give it a try. My first attempt left me disappointed and it got removed. A lack of instructions and not knowing any other users led me to believe it was as dead as real CB. Then years later a friend suggested I give it a try explained he was in a channel and and so I tried agin in the channel he was in. A completely different experience, I quickly learnt how it worked via word of mouth and became hooked. I love it and it has changed my working day from the lonely solitude of a metal box on wheels to a communication hub where I chat to friends and strangers world wide. The Data usage is incredibly low and the audio quality is generally great but obviously signal dependant. There are many differences to analog CB Radio some good some not so good. Times have moved on it feels like old school CB but the majority of users are too young to even know what that was, the etiquette and the slang has gone but so have the restrictions of distance. I have three tips for anybody using this App. Stay Safe: Remember you are talking to a world of strangers and the map allows other users to track you, some channels use a high detail to precise location but not when it’s turned off. Key up and introduce yourself. (Yes I know how hard that can be the first time) it quickly becomes second nature, and some consider it rude to just lurk. The App is like spoken IRC/ social media There’s great people and not so great people out there, be one of the great people friendly and honest. Accept everyone has their own way and ignore but tolerate those that don’t make your experience great. It should be fun and enjoyable for everyone explore the channels make friends and Enjoy the App. Invest in a mic The purchase of a mic is essential if you are a driver. At first I felt it was a little expensive. The price fluctuates on Amazon from £70-£130 but is nothing compared to the cost of being caught using your phone while driving.

It’s not sending me a WhatsApp for no reason

What a great way to communicate and meet new people I have only been on a few days but the welcome I have received from OGTTRUCKERS5 is beyond a doubt the best group of people ever I don’t know anyone in the channel and never met them before but they welcomed me in with respect hope to have get to know each and everyone on there and have a few meet ups

I have been on the CB talk app for about 6 months, Working in an industry that is somewhat lonesome how fantastic it is to have a simple way to communicate with fellow drivers from all over the UK after reading the other reviews I simply can’t recommend the app enough warm welcoming and positive is the only thing I have found. Banter is a plenty and it’s nice to sometimes chat with fellow drivers who will share opinions and points of views some in similar circumstances it’s great to talk day or night and as for the review reference OGTTRUCKER5 a warm welcome was certainly received I have recommended the App to all my friend.

I’ve been driving commercially over 20+ years, what was quite a lonely job is now not so lonely. Wonderful people and lots of channels to choose from. There is something for everyone. OGTRUCKER5 is my personal favourate.
