Numerology is the ancient science of assigning a "vibration" to each letter of the alphabet and reducing the sum of the vibrations of the letters in words and names to reach that things vibration. If the sum of the digits at some point reaches 11 or 22 the calculation stops as these are considered special vibrations or Master Numbers.
For people the various aspects are reached by combinations of the letters in the birth name and the birth date.
Purpose is the vibration in the birth name.

Persona is arrived at using the consonants in the birth name.
