Thanks for keeping me updated and well informed !!

I love your weather team. I loathe this app. The last two weather storms and you can’t even pull up the map. It’s straight awful. Using WSOC-TV’s app until you fix it. The last WCNC Weather app was perfect. Either make a usable app or don’t offer one.

WCNC is my “go to” source for news BUT especially weather. Brad Panovich is the best meteorologist I have listened to in my 76 years on planet earth. Your news anchors are wonderful, very personable and relatable. I love the verify segments. For over 25 years I was a dedicated follower of another Charlotte network news - not anymore.

Even for topics I have turned notifications off for they bombard you with push notifications. It’s like “a crime happened!!” - I don’t care. - “There’s an update on that crime!!!!” - still don’t care - “police are now giving a statement about the crime!!!” - please stop. I don’t care. That’s the actual format. Endless. So dumb. Almost as bad as the patch. Tell me you’re desperate to get me tapping into your app without telling me. Moving onto a new news platform.

I recently downloaded the WCNC app and have really enjoyed getting the updates throughout the day. Knowing what is happening locally is always important and I feel the content is well balanced. The initial reason that I downloaded the app was to try to bridge the financial updates given on the TV broadcast at the bottom of the screen to what I thought would be found on the app but I have yet to find that. I sent an email to the station but have not heard back yet. I’d love to change this to a 5-star rating if I could get that answered, please. Keep up the great work and I am a routine viewer of the TV broadcast at 5am and switch to the app as I prep for the workday.

Please ensure the application respects our chosen topic alerts and notifications settings. For example, if I have opted to receive weather notifications only, could the application refrain from showing me alerts I have not selected?

Sometimes the news stories are not updated for days and days. Very frustrating to see the same stories and not new ones for many days.

News when you need it!

I only want weather notifications, how do I eliminate all others. I have weather as the only allowed notifications but news is pushed. Truthfully, WCNC needs a weather only app with lots of features to help the public , even if there’s a small cost!

The WCNC app is a great source to received updated information related to local and international news.
