CHARSUR VODCAST

CHARSUR is a Carnatic Music label / Foundation - a Nonprofit Organisation formed primarily to promote, preserve and support the art and the artistes who have made enormous contributions in the field of CARNATIC MUSIC. This music system is based on Indian values and the themes often are spiritual and philosophical in content. The new system is an outcome in appreciation of the efforts that has gone into maintaining and sustaining this ancient art form. This is a unique opportunity to preserve the ancient Indian art and culture.
Foundation supports more than 200 artistes every year, propagates Carnatic music throughout the world. The foundation has been promoting young talent from time to time by providing them a platform to perform every month. The foundation plans to make payments to artistes who are unable to earn their livelihood but have contributed a lot to Carnatic music. It will promote teaching of this art form by eminent scholars and teachers. We request you join hands with us for the future to work together in preserving and promoting Carnatic Music.
