Beginners and experienced players alike will enjoy solving the large number of chess puzzles included in this app. All of the puzzles were carefully chosen from actual games or are compositions inspired by actual games throughout history! (1802 to modern times)
The app includes a total of 1177 interactive puzzles!!
- 222 mate in 2 puzzles
- 490 mate in 3 puzzles
- 465 mate in 4 puzzles
The object is to finish each puzzle by forcing a checkmate in a given number of moves. These puzzles are fun to play and can be enjoyed at your leisure on your iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Other features include:

- Lots of options: 7 chess piece sets and 7 different colors schemes including wood and marble.

Excellent puzzles, animations too fast
The puzzles are great. When I need a hint or to see the solution the animations are so fast it’s hard to tell what happened, a minor and easily fixed complaint. Highly recommend.

Good chess puzzles
I'm really enjoying this app. However, a few of the puzzles come up with different moves for the opponent than the official solution. I should have kept notes, but as I recall, at least one puzzle had an escape from mate in three.
