The game runs, but it’s nothing special or noteworthy. Absolutely not worth playing when every button press gives you a long ad.

Well was looking forward to learning how the game worked. Deleted after 3 mins. Asked to accept the cookies and then every time i clicked on single player it threw an ad up. I get its free, but really ruins it for me. No interest in them at all.
I find the relentless adverts annoying but it’s free at least as I will not wish to pay for this app as its programming is rather cumbersome and indeed strange. Consider the training puzzles of which it has many suggesting spanning several apparent levels of expertise although there seems little actual little difference in difficulty between the lower and higher levels. Even its basic levels require considerable amounts of tactical knowledge on the part of the human player with little scope for a genuine beginner to build any confidence with tactics. This however is typical of all Xiangqi software I have come across. Unfortunately in my use there also seems to be a flaw in many of the puzzles; typically the AI’s pieces will be set up to achieve check mate within two to three moves against any moves by the human player. This usually would indicate that the human player can only win by keeping the AI’s General in continuous check with each move you make. However, very often I find that there is no way to win using this principle and often it is only achieved by playing a piece in a non logical way, with the AI choosing to ignore my move and instead of putting me in check chooses to also make an equally illogical move which then allows me to gain checkmate, when in reality the AI could easily win owing to the way it’s pieces are set up originally. It is true to say that it is particularly time consuming to find which illogical move gains the opportunity to win. The user interface is also difficult to negotiate and it is troublesome to start a new game at a different level; there appears to be no direct and obvious button to press to indicate at what level you would wish your next game to be at unlike the checkmate puzzles it has. Unfortunately there are so few versatile Xiangqi playing apps available so it is good that the this app provider is keeping this great game going as it’s more challenging than the conventional Indian/Western version.
The ads are driving me crazy and there isn't an option to pay and remove them. Tad annoying
Good but crashes each time I win on single player. On iPhone 6S.
Adds are so annoying and ruin the app. Would be nice to have the option to pay for the game and have no adverts !
Was really happy to find this game as it’s dying out from the younger generations. Probably older generations play this and this really unique Chinese chess will be lost in the near future hopefully this tradition will go into young people’s life style. Great when your bored helps train our mind! Got to give the developers a 5 star! Great work guys!!
Ok
