Christian Mingle: Dating App

It make no sense. I uploaded the photos and everything and once I was done with it, the app doesn’t let me go in the app anymore. Like how am I suppose to delete the pics now?

The lowest price is $50/mo just to be able to message people or see who has even looked at your profile. Nobody is active on the app at all, nothing but old accounts. It could be a good app if the prices were lower and you at least got some free messages to send and can look at who viewed you.

Do not download, purchase or give any information ! Will not be able to get any support from them or APPLE !! Had information stolen, account compromised and NO HELP FROM EITHER SIDE! RUN Took my $50 and not only was I not able to use the app, my account was hacked IMMEDIATELY and I started getting spam calls and emails from "Christian Mingle" asking me to reset my password, provide my information and gave me a scam # to call. I went back and forth with Christian Mingle support in email (they claim they do not offer phone support.) I reached out right after I set up my account, and spent OVER TWO WEEKS going back and forth with them in emails. They finally deleted my account (halfway through the 30 day subscription I had already been charged for) and said they couldn't refund me. THIEVES !!!!

First of all, the cheapest subscription option is $25 a month (for 6 months, resulting in a payment of about $150). That is my major problem with this app; it’s expensive, and the app format is not worth that. The least they could do is offer a semi-subscription or a yearly subscription. Without a subscription, you cannot even CLICK ON the profiles of the people who send you messages or even smiles or likes. And good luck trying to find those profiles. (I just tried, and I could only find one out of four.) The Search Interests are not organized well and seem to change positions on different profiles. When choosing your interests, they’re separated into categories, but that doesn't hold when viewing profiles. Sometimes, “wine tasting” is near the top, and other times, it’s near the bottom (not because of the length or what people chose – this happens even on people who select almost everything). The “About You” does not seem very user-friendly. It's the only section to write anything, but the return/enter button does not always start a new paragraph. At least the character count is unlimited though. Also, like others have said, filters don’t work. I search for “never drink”, yet I get people who not only don't have that selected, but they have cocktails, wine tasting, etc. as their interests. Christian Mingle may be the most well-known Christian dating app, but the app does not deserve that popularity.

Terrible waste of time. They try hard to scam your money too by making it very hard to load the cancel subscription screen. Too expensive and no output. I’ve been on other much better apps. I thought Christian mingle would be the way to find a Christian but I was wrong.

Money Money Money, I’m sure the God of the poor and needy approves of this app.

App is terrible. When I get a notification that someone viewed my profile, I open the app, but then it doesn’t update the info so I have no way to viewing the person who just viewed me!! How are we to connect if I don’t know who potentially shows interest in me?? Fix the bugs, people. It’s way to expensive to not work properly. I won’t be renewing my sub.

Run do not walk away from this app. DO NOT PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION! Although I did talk to two different men who were of a similar belief system they were literally the only two who were even close to compatible and only one was local to me. For the cost of the service, since I had to pay to be able to communicate with anyone, was not worth it at all. Then when I met someone on a different app and tried to delete my profile, all I got was an error message EVERY TIME. I tried to contact and send a message regarding the issue and the message wouldn’t send. I tried to manage my subscription and cancel my auto renewal (following the directions I found online) and that didn’t work either. I have never written a review for any app before but I took the time to do this review because the app is so bad.

Can’t even see all of people’s profile pictures if you don’t pay. Can’t contact them at all either. Even if they pay and message you 🙃 so silly. It’s shady.

Many profiles are people who are no longer active. I want to cancel my membership and am dividing this to be very challenging - phone number leads to ads and no person, email is returned, web address inactive. Hmmmm….
