This is a terrible app!

I was sooo excited to have the app connected to my unit so I could monitor levels in my humidor. The app was one of the features of the unit I was most excited about. So far the humidor works great, but the app is a total bust. It downloaded fine, I skimmed the Wi-fi product guide and saw I needed my network name to not have any spaces so I updated my network name. It still wasn’t working so I reread the instructions and saw “Our devices do not support 5ghz networks.” Ugh, an hour into trying to get it to connect and learning more about networks than I ever wanted to, I cannot use this app… but thanks for the 30 day trial.

Worthless, infuriating, waste of time. Not worth it at all.

You need a degree in computer security to get it on your home network. There is no help. All other devices I have do not have a problem and I doubt this needs such an elaborate process to connect.

Disconnected from WiFi. Almost impossible to just reconnect it. Have to go through a whole set up process. Then it tells you it has reconnected your old unit but still doesn’t display in your app. I’m sick of dealing with buggy crappy apps that charge money. Stay away.

App was working fine. Today it’s decided to log me out and now I can’t get back in. Message states “Something went wrong. Please contact administrator for further assistance” Who is the administrator?

I received false alerts from this app at least once per week after first set up. Eventually I just started ignoring them, which defeats the purpose of monitoring your humidor. I reported this issue many times to support but there was no concern on their part that this wasn’t working correctly. Finally cancelled my subscription and won’t be using this app again. It’s a shame as it is a good idea in concept but clearly poorly executed. Don’t buy their humidors if you are expecting this functionality to work reliably - it doesn’t.

Downloaded the app. Created my account. Waited for the validation email. Nothing. Called customer support. Received an email that I would be contacted shortly. Waited 2 days. Nothing. Tried going back to the app. App said Success validation email has been resent. Nothing. Filled out a support ticket online. Received an email someone will contact you shortly. Someone called me and said it would be fixed. 2 days later. Nothing. After reading reviews I don’t know as if I even care at this point. Have a nice day. Don’t know what happened but eventually did receive the validation email and was able to set it up.

Great app, love the ability to remotely monitor my humidor.

To be clear, the humidor is good. I had a previous version that lasted many years, it was quieter, this new version sounds like a jet 😵‍💫 However, the app is worthless. It took me a while to set it up following the instructions in the app itself, and I’m in IT that work with networks. It has been a week and still pending validation. And they want $20/year support in this? Nah, I will go with a Govee and done.
