Citadel Colour: The App

You can’t search by a specific paint, and the suggested recipes based off it, and then they ruined there website, so its just terrible. Checked the older versions of the app, and 3.15 was much better, and actually is useful.

I use this app to track what paints I have and what I need to get for projects - unfortunately this most recent upgrade wiped my data, so Ive lost wishlist and inventory data ☹️

I liked and used this app a lot it was helpful for my colours then this update happend and I couldn’t find my favourite featured the ability to switch between the color being ether drybrush or outline

I’m currently building and painting a Gloomspite army, and love the contrast paints. But I’d like to see the whole range of Gloomspite added to the app so I can save them to the my project section, and when selecting the contrast in the paint by model for the photo to actually reflect what the model looks like painted with the contrast colours

Fantastic app a dream come true. Makes planning and organising of paints before you start a project a breeze

Good and straight forward app to use would suggest adding the paint conversion chart in someway as I still have a lot of paints from the old system

This app is crap! The videos DO NOT WORK! Waste of my time.

I was really excited at the idea of this app as I am just getting in to painting miniatures. I was looking forward to a companion that I could run on my iPad while I paint to reference colors and tutorial videos but there is a major problem with this plan. IT ONLY FUNCTIONS IN PORTRAIT MODE!! What!?!? It’s 2023 and Games Workshop is a MASSIVE company and this app is over 4 years old. How is this not a feature? Most people I know working on the iPad Pro, do so with some type of attached keyboard and in landscape mode. The lack of landscape orientation severely limits the functionality of the app and unfortunately renders it useless for me (and many other users) on the iPad unless I want to disconnect my keyboard and case and completely change my workflow. Hope it’s something that can be addressed as it should be an easy fix.

The Apple version is leaps and bounds behind the windows version. It doesn’t have nearly all the models it should, nor a lot of the functions that the screenshots show (that are on the windows/android version).

Simply put, the GW website is more useful for painting guidance than this app for the simple reason that, on the GW website, you can ZOOM IN and ROTATE the models. The fact that this app does not have this feature is bizarre. There’s also this whole “contrast” option I guess meant to show you what the model “would look like in contrast paints”, but this section is completely empty. Seems like this app is half finished. Other than showing you pictures of the models, it does nothing for you.
