Not great. Too complicated. Is there any support? Wouldn’t recommend

We use the Clare app many times throughout the day: from disarm in the morning until arming it at bedtime. We control the heat, overhead garage doors and our interior and exterior lights. As well I’ve set up lighting scenes for various activities in our home. Those featured work perfectly - as one would expect. However I cannot give this app as high a rating as I’d like as we lost the CCTV live feed feature with the update August 2020. That’s an important feature! I’ve written many emails to Eric at Clare and the usual response is to do a reboot or that an imminent update will correct the problem. It never has. The recent April 2021 update to 7.0.7 has also not corrected the problem. I really can’t recommend this system given the lack of customer service and grief it’s caused us.

Installed it and now I can’t even use the system anymore. It’s closes on opening.

This version of the app is horrible. You can no longer assign buttons or fine tune your system from your phone. In addition, the interface is slow and clunky. Aside from being able to turn on and off my lights this app gets a fail.

Always need to call the installer to do anything. Not user friendly at all.

Things keep going offline. What’s the point of having home automation when you can’t trust it. Needs major bug overhaul and there are never any updates.

The iPad app is pretty good, besides taking a little too long to hookup to your clare system sometimes, but the iPhone app is a joke. Horribly simple interface and needs some serious work done on it.

Came installed when we bought our brand new house. Only lasted for a year and never worked again. I tried to call the customer service and they told me to contact the third party who installed it. Called the number they gave, it doesn’t work at all - says business is permanently closed. Called ClareHome again and they can’t do anything for us and said the device is faulty now. Lastly, multiple houses around me who got the ClareHome also experienced the same thing. All of our ClareHome don’t work anymore. Stay away and use another home system.

Stuck in reconnecting. Help menu says I have to buy a Claire Panel to fix it. Either it’s a force purchase or the company is moving away from single app support. I guess I am uninstalling since they are moving away from app usage.
