Classic Sudoku!

The one before was good, like in all other apps by CTC. This one is super inconvenient! Please don’t make all other apps like this

These are great to solve, and the hints it includes helped coach me through advanced techniques (which I’ve struggled to understand in articles or videos) so now I can spot them in the wild! Can’t wait for the next app as I’ve now done all the puzzles twice!

Game 24 has erroneous hints

I like the fact that these are hand crafted puzzles with constructive hints to learn various sudoku techniques. However, I would like it if the hints were actually shown on the grid rather than just a plain piece of text. It happened more than once that the hint says something like "5/7 pair in c5r1r3", and when I look at my current state of play, I cannot see why there would be this pair at this place. Also, for that price I would have liked a decent iPad app with split view and so on.

The game is well designed, easy to play, and offers advanced puzzles. However, the hints are sometimes wrong. Rather than use the r#r#c#c# schema, perhaps table headings with alphanumeric coding on the x and y axes may help prevent the hint errors.

Cool but I lost interest too quickly

Have been playing Sudoku on another app but just tried this one and trying to adjust to new settings, etc. I’m unable to find a guide that explain what each setting does, which would be helpful! Looking forward to learning them one way or another and playing some HUMAN-generated puzzles.

This is my favorite sudoku app of all time. I hate playing this game in others, it’s just not the same! I’ve been playing the same 100 puzzles for a few years now and am ready for more!!

I love this app! Each puzzle is great in its own right and the options available to solve the puzzles are better or on par with anything else I have found. If there was one thing I would add to a wish list is the capacity to review the puzzle after I’m finished. As in the timer stops and I can go back on the history of actions to see what my process was. Specially to compare against the hints if I didn’t use them to see if I used what was hinted or if I came up with something else. But that is minor compared to everything else that this app gets right. If you love Sudoku definitely get this app!

The hints attached to each puzzle help you learn the various solving techniques. I first went through the 100 puzzles using the hints on the harder ones. Then I solved them again without using the hints. I think I am a much better solver now.
