Really disappointed, paid for this app, but not working!!

My first experience of Classix was pretty positive, and I’ve watched a dozen or so films after deciding to pay for the unlimited access. One of the classic TV series I was looking forward to watching was Wagon Train, but after paying for the app I can only see 3 episodes, when there were 8 seasons in total. What happened to the rest of the episodes? Well, I tried to ask by going to the help site, but it’s locked for new support tickets. Also, the site’s privacy policy isn’t working. So my experience is much less positive now than it was, and while there are a lot of old films available, a lot of the TV shows look very patchy and incomplete - and ultimately there is no way to contact support. A shame.

It’s barely usable for me now. The most recent update is worse than the last one. If the app opens, (sometimes it doesn’t) I can no longer view my Watchlist. There’s just nothing there, it’s all been deleted. When I tap Account the app crashes - every single time. And tapping Notifications does nothing at all. If I try to watch a film there are no on-screen controls, so it’s not possible to pause or even back out of it - I have to close the app and start again. Also, sometimes films have no sound, and I don’t mean the ones that are actually meant to be silent movies! Really disappointed because I’d hoped the app would be fixed in this update. I’m using iPhone SE 1st gen. Please don’t abandon users with older devices, I can’t afford a new one and it works perfectly well for all the other streaming platforms. I just really don’t want to lose Classix!

This was a great app. I signed up for everything, the full package. A week later nothing works. I’ve deleted and reinstalled but it doesn’t work. Don’t buy. A complete rip-off. Update - it’s working again, but I wonder for how long. And I have to say the quality of much of the prints is beyond awful, to the point of being unwatchable. Also the developer doesn’t appear to interact whatsoever with the user-base, which is generally a bad sign.

This used to work just fine, but I can’t do anything with it now. It doesn’t even load the home page anymore, so it seems I can’t watch anything at all.

Doesn’t work on iPad Pro just hangs on the opening screen with the loading circle constantly going round. Nothing happens.

Used to be good but since last update the purchased you made are wiped no longer giving you access to your so called lifetime fee I paid a couple of years ago tried to contact support to restore my account but was told I don’t have access don’t waste your money on this app as they now have the cheek to ask you to pay Again separate for live tv and on demand

1. On searching from apple TV this shows the poster for the correct film (1939) but links to the wrong one (1922). 2. In the app search, selecting the first letter (can be any letter) causes the app to crash. 3. Messages/emails are poor quality and made me suspect the entire site. Looked like a poor example of phishing email. I never got to watch the film and have asked for money back. I would have happily bought the film on apple for twice the amount. I can’t believe this is apple putting parts of catalog behind a second paywall as it doesn’t make sense. I don’t get it.

I want to cancel my subscription as it is so poor but you can’t even do that as the website does not work. So they are just grabbing money and no way to contact them. Appalled!
