This app is great for both iPhone and Mac

While CleanMyPhone looks great, it really offers very little in terms of improving the efficiency of your phone. It’s most useful function ‘Declutter’, simply selects all the files that the app regards as ‘temporary’ (IG files, screenshots, etc.) - a task you could just as easily do by scrolling through your media library. You probably still need to scroll through the CMP Declitter results anyway to make sure you don’t delete something you still want to keep. I am a big fan of CleanMyMac, which has the ability to actually speed up and remove Malware, from your Mac, but CleanMyPhone does none of this. I will continue to pay the subs purely because I want to support Ukrainian businesses. Sorry MacPaw!

I still have above 50.000 photos to go through, and your old Gemini app was great for this. The manual flow was efficient and easy. Could you consider bringing that back into the new app here?

Gemini is a fantastic idea, actually a lot of features that would be really great to have in Apple Photos. Of course, that’s why I bought a one-time subscribtion for Gemini. Unfortunately, after some time using the app, I started getting bugs making the app unusable actually. I wrote this email to the customer support : · I have had this bug for a long time now (also before iOS 17), but haven't had the time to report it until now. Please look at my attached video, as it shows what's going on better than I can explain in words. (Photos stacked in top of eachother, making it frustrating, cluttery and very unsmooth if not impossible to use the app). · Another thing that seems to happen for me, is not every picture is getting in the "similar" category. Instead they all end up in the "Other", and that honestly just feels like clearing out your photos in the standard Apple Photos app, and that is obviously not why I bought the one-time-purchase Gemini app. · The last thing is a question to some Gemini II beta, which i skipped - is it true that another Gemini Photos app is coming, and does my subscription carry over, or did i misunderstand? ——— I then got two auto-replies, the second one saying “How would you rate the support you received?”… and I went through that two times… I hope that writing this review will open some eyes and ears on the customer support team.

I have two toddlers which means a lot of photos. The strategy is to take a bunch rapidly and hope one of them is good. This makes going through the photos a huge pain and I just let them pile up. In searching for a photo cleaning app I’ve tried all of them on the App Store and this one works the best. Most photo cleanup apps are nearly identical but here is what makes Gemini better. 1.) you can view the full photo before selecting, 2.) it doesn’t annoy you with a “congrats! You cleaned 2 photos!” every time you delete some from a similar set and 3.) selecting the photos actually works. So far so good, haven’t experienced any bugs and the yearly price seems fair. Hope the app continues to be maintained as I will be using it a lot going forward.

it doesn't work very well .. there are suggestions of some pictures that are not the same .. quite a lot actually .. I would like to cancel my purchase and get my money back

Don’t waste your time if you’re not willing to pay. You will hit a paywall before you get to actually delete stuff and after spending hours to select images. Dishonest business model.
