it keeps telling me to update the app again and again and again
Alexa not recognising Climote after update
Was hoping the updated app would change the way you could select time slots but its still just a digital version of the old clicking down of segments. Worse on a small screen device like a smart phone as it’s so fiddly selecting time slots. Failure to take into account that not everyone has tiny dexterous fingers and 20/20 vision. Not to mention the most annoying part of this device since its inception, only allowing 3 programmed timed slots on timer which could have been addressed on last update.
Connectivity issues frequent. When app was originally designed it worked, pure and simple. New ‘style’ is a big step backwards
Have the app a brilliant refresh. Much better UX. But it never works and customer service isn’t great.
I purchased my Climote controller about 8 years ago. However, since the recent app software updates, I’m having errors using my remote app. The app works intermittently and generally works for about 24-48hrs after contacting Climote, then fails again. Emails back to Climote have confirmed I need to purchase a new Climote controller so the new software and hardware will work. This seems ridiculous. The app will work intermittently so there must be a coms issue. Climote’s inability to offer any support to existing Customers is bonkers. Where’s the business sense here. Design an app to not communicate and work for existing customers??? Why would I replace my controller again with a Climote, if this is the support you get.
App not connecting to the device. I’ve tried calling support several times, waiting music plays and then the call just hangs up. Is climote still in business ??? The latest app update is terrible if you’re on the older version I would advise against updating.
3 slots just isn’t enough why is there even a limit there wasn’t on my old dial one, this is just ineffective and inefficient. *Update* The above wasn’t fixed in the redesigned app which has also no longer got the ability to set seasonal schedules
Much preferred the older version that looked like the physical controller
