Trust me, what anyone says here about Clipboard not siding with their “employees“ is true. They will always side with the facility, obviously. That is because the facility is how they make their revenue. Without the facility, there would be no Clipboard. Unfortunately, as stated below, they DO exploit their “employees“. they absolutely do not side with you, their attendance policies are atrocious and unreasonable. For example, I was summoned to appear in court as a witness in a criminal trial. I was not able to work the shift because I had to appear in court. They deducted a massive amount of attendance points. I had to show them the court order and then, weeks later, they gave me my points back, but they had the nerve to say that they were doing me a one time favor. the shifts for registered nurses have been practically nonexistent, and the pay rates are pitiful ($40/hr for RN??? Hahahaha!!!). Again, as stated below, the only good thing about Clipboard is that they will pay you as soon as you were done with the shift, and with no taxes taken out. Now, one of their “developers “will respond to this review and will tell me that I should fill out one of their attendance appeal forms, negotiate a rate with the facility, etc. None of that gets you anywhere. That is not our job. I recommend Nursa or IntelyCare.

It would be nice to get a text message when a shift is open/available instead of having to constantly check the app for shifts.

It’s been many months of trying to onboard, every time you “fulfill” the requirements, onboarding staff finds an issue with it out of thin air. It should not take many months to onboard with any nursing agency. It’s either you have the appropriate documents, or you don't. Its misleading to continue leading nurses on for months, only for the hope to vanish instantly with every interaction with "staff". Unfortunately, there's a reason this agency app has only 2.8 stars. Read the real reviews! Current & future nurses please take your business elsewhere, specifically with Medely nursing agency. The onboarding for Medely is seamless, job postings constantly with reputable facilities other than rehab centers. In addition, you actually onboard with an RN, unlike a lot of random unlicensed staff from other nursing apps(such as this one). This is unfortunately my honest opinion, and I'm looking forward to better opportunities that actually welcome new partnerships with professional & hardworking nurses.

I’ve only used Clipboard a few times but so far it seems to be pretty consistent. The pay for some of the facilities could be more but it’s not bad.

Below medical worker wages being offered. Not sure if they’re keeping the money but we did not a contract specifying any of of our wages being taken from our hourly rates. Not sure why the app would allow these low pay rates. The work is extreme.

I absolutely positively do NOT recommend clipboard to anyone who values their nursing license or any professional license you may have. Clipboard does not advocate for their contractors. All they care about is money and their relationship with the facilities they are partnered with even if the facility was in the wrong. I was banned from their platform bc the facility rep told me to call off from my shift at the last minute and don’t come bc I tested positive for covid. Called last minute and told clipboard about it they did NOT care ofc and told me “this is not your first go around with covid and we have a right to not allow you to return to our platform” mind you they came to this decision a day before they put in place their new attendance policy with the point system. And I caught covid before from a facility they partnered with that failed to report they had any cases and they never paid me for being sent home an hr into my shift and they told me “it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE AWARE OF YOUR OWN COVID STATUS PRIOR TO YOUR SHIFT”. They are money hungry and unprofessional and don’t care about you. Use any other platform but this one! Now I have my RN license I will NOT be returning to their platform!

As a healthcare professional, my experience with the Clipboard Health app has been deeply disappointing. While the app promises flexibility and opportunities, it is highly profit-driven, significantly reducing the wages healthcare facilities pay by taking a large cut for itself. This practice is driven by an algorithm designed to maximize profit for the app at the expense of the professionals it is meant to serve. Additionally, the app’s rating and point system are fundamentally unfair. Facilities have the power to cancel your shift minutes before it begins without facing any penalties. This leaves professionals without compensation for their time and effort. I strongly advise against using the Clipboard Health app. Its practices undermine the value of healthcare professionals and fail to provide the reliable, fair working conditions we deserve. Consider exploring other platforms that prioritize transparency and respect for healthcare workers.

They haven’t been paying me my correct amount of money and getting in touch with them is next to impossible. Once I did get in touch with someone they ignore you.

Here’s an idea! Every time a facility cancels my shift without consequence, I get to cancel a shift with that facility without consequence. I tire of these schedulers making my life difficult for their convenience and laziness.

Downloaded this app almost 3 months ago with all the hoops to jump threw for required documents, still no available jobs for Medical Assistants.
