Cololight

It takes forever to load the app and to connect to a device. It’s very frustrating considering it’s the only option available to control the lighting. I cannot turn on or off lights through the app either without trying so many times. Please reconsider designing the app. The load time is unbearably slow and it makes no sense that I have to open and close the app so many times for it to get to the home-screen and when it does load the home-screen, there is no guarantee that the on/off buttons or customizations would work.

i tried to use it today and the app wouldn’t open, i uninstalled and reinstalled it to find an extremely downgraded version of what the app used to be. i can’t even get my previous customizations back after having to delete the app. the swiping function and colour customization is non existent. you can now only customize static colour and there seems to be no more ways to create custom effects from scratch per bulb. feeling cheated & features that i paid for this device for have been taken away.

The lights are great but its a shame that its THE WORST APP THAT I EVER USED. Its just so frustrating, I can't use my light whenever I want because of the app is never working, never loading into my acount. Find another product with better app to use or you will be as frustrating as me right now.

Don’t buy cololights you’ll regret it

The software/interface is not seamless. Every once and a while it will have issues and won’t work. Troubleshooting it is one of the biggest hassles ever. Or sometime you simply just have to wait for it to fix itself. It’s really bad to the point where I would recommend coughing up a little more money and buying another brand with a better user interface and less glitches. Also I really do not like the fact that you have to enable location, wifi pw, and it has to store info in files iCloud. All that is unnecessary, it’s just a light. I sometimes really consider getting rid of it. But when it does work it’s very nice.

Please just bring back the old update !! This one is trash. Useless

Definitely not HomeKit compatible. The app features function about 2% of the time and when they actually do work you end up with an “oops, something went wrong” message. Don’t buy these products.

A very bad program. I always suffer from pairing, but the lighting is excellent. I hope to amend the program

Like everyone else in these comments are saying… PLEASE FIX THE APP! I can’t customize my lights at ALL like advertised and they are such expensive lights. What is going on?!
