Consider The Dog

I’ve been working with trainers and following online resources for 2 yrs. Tyler’s curation is the most well rounded and practical one I found so far. I’m able to fill the blanks that other trainers or videos had left for me. Variety (obedience, dog sports, problem behaviors puppy etc), and diversity of opinions/methods has been very useful to help me find what works for my dog. The facebook community is very welcoming and helpful as well.

I have been following Tyler Muto for many years. “Consider the Dog” in such an appropriate title, as what I have always appreciated is the kindness in his approach to dog behavior—compassionately considering the dog’s point of view in each behavioral scenario, but also having a compassionate view of the needs of the families who are dealing with difficult dog behavior. I have tried other online dog training help platforms, but could see that the recommendations were going to take months, even years to resolve some of the issues I was having. Using the recommendations that I obtained from his input on the Facebook group and the live sessions, I am seeing immediate improvement in my dog’s behavior. Having followed his training through youtube videos for years, I am so grateful that he, as well as many other respected trainers, are now accessible through Consider the Dog Facebook group and live forums to give personalized input on issues the members may be having with their dogs— an answer to prayer!

I’ve learned so much from my membership to Consider the Dog and their Facebook page. I’ve posted a few questions regarding some issues I’ve had with my dog and everyone has been so helpful and nice and have given me some great feedback. Tyler Muto is a very well known dog trainer and he has helped me with my previous dog over 10 years ago and also with my current trouble maker. He’s given me some great advice and I trust everything he says. His e collar course is amazing! I highly recommend Consider the Dog to anyone who wants to learn more about dog behavior and training, training tools, etc.

Regardless of your dog training goals or your dog’s personality, the information you’re looking for is here! No conflicting information. No gatekeeping. They give you all of the information on each and every topic giving you the ability to decide what is best for your dog’s unique personality. The progress my dog and I have made regarding his on-leash reactivity and over-excitement in the house has been incredible!

This membership is without a doubt the one that I will not do without. Between the community, the live zoom calls, and various trainer programs, it is well worth the membership fee. I have learned so much that Consider The Dog is the one I recommend to other trainers that I mentor and to owners that want to take their relationship with their dog to the next level.

This group has been such a great help raising my puppy. Where else can you find so many great trainers willing to help in one place!

The CSD team has a wide range of highly informative training videos across many topics. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and passionate about quality, ethical dog training. This is a wonderful companion for anyone interested in the world of dog training and is well worth the subscription!

I’ve have only had the app for about a month now and have already learned so much about dog training! I’m really enjoying all the training videos and the live streams. I love listening to the livestreams on my commutes of while doing chores, they’re one of my favorite parts about the app as it keeps me continuously learning.
