Contractor Foreman

I been using contractor foreman for awhile is good especially because always doing updates and making it easy to use.. but only respond to emails and app support. I think would be nice to have someone to talk to when you really need it..

If you are considering any construction management softwares or currently have any doubts about the one you are using then you need to get Contractor Foreman! We have tried pretty much every construction management software on the market and this one has been the best!

We were a little surprised by the hiccups in CF and Quickbooks integration since it is handled by a subcontractor and the cost codes provided by the sub should be an option to auto-upload like NAHB or CSI. The included “integration assistance” was basically the person who handles integration selling us on their cost code setup. But we are happy we paid for the additional full integration since the cost codes are great for remodeling. It would have just gone faster if CF spent a bit of time clarifying with their integration sub about how they can handle the onboarding and information better. After that hiccup the integration is amazing with two way updates to and from CF and Quickbooks. We came from BuilderTrend and while CF doesn’t have as many features (that we rarely, if ever used) the value is amazing. Sometimes the software will be glitchy for a day or two in Safari, but I switch to Chrome until it is fixed. The app lacks some financial items but is perfect for items in the field like time cards or expense/receipt capture.

Company has gone down hill tremendously since the start of 2024. Constant server issues, 2-3 times per week. This company doesn’t care about its clients I would look for something else. I don’t recommend this company at all, in fact it’s one of the worse subscription services I’ve purchase.

I’ve had to use CF for over 3 years now and let me tell you, it is the most unreliable app I have ever used! It barely loads pictures and when it does you can only upload a few pictures at a time, it is incredibly slow, and decides to crash in areas where the reception is strong. It’ll also fail to post the address of the customer. I could go on and on, but I strongly recommend using any other app. I’d rather use pen and paper than CF to be honest.

I’ve been using CF for 1.5 years. It’s been upgraded multiple times during my usage, so ignore some of the older reviews as those issues have been addressed long ago. That’s said, there is still room for improvement. One feature that needs to be included: CF has a good bid request feature that allows you to reach as many subs in your directory as you want in one interaction. However! Currently, there is not way to track bids received from outside of CF - bids I ask subs for directly and they send to me directly.

Sometimes the app works. Sometimes it doesn’t. It depends on the weather I think. Constantly freezes up. I always have to force close the app. I waste so much time on jobs just trying to get the app to work properly so that I can view files and pictures. Just very unreliable and infuriating to use.

I don’t know why but it won’t pop up as a notification unless I’m in the app, but I think that would be nice. My boss has to text me to check the chats because I don’t get any notification. Thanks, otherwise no complaints.

This software is a game changer to the industry it’s got so many features and has the potential to be even better!!! The support is top notch and the referral and recommendation systems are great! I highly encourage anyone who is in the construction industry to check it out it’s affordable and easy to use and customizable in many ways to fit specific needs.

It’s a great tool to start with. I do feel the price is a little high. Contractors are struggling right now matter the volume. Tough market and companies barely making ends for some. Between payroll taxes and everything else. It isn’t economic and it doesn’t have a lead tracking feature.
