I used it to register for 3 classes so far. For asynchronous classes just put the app into list view by pressing the top right corner and it will show up. Calendar view doesn’t allow asynchronous to appear.

Why is it on the Canadian App Store? You can even add your own courses if it’s not one of the schools they have.

I can’t use course tracking for 1 of my classes cause it’s an asynchrony class. It doesn’t show up on schedule

This app doesn’t specify classes to each uni which makes it completely useless. Don’t download it

The ease with which the app can be used and the haste with which the app developers reply to concerns definitely justify paying for the premium version.

I purchased Coursicle about a week ago after my university took over 6 weeks to process my registration as a returning student (why?), and subsequently, i misssd the registration opening date and a ton of the classes I wanted were full. At first I was a bit confused as I expected the app to build on the website’s functionality and include a schedule builder, but it is truly just a very simple app with one function: it tracks your chosen classes and sends you a notification when there’s a spot open. For lab times, you can select the specific section you want. I was SO stressed and annoyed about the registration process this year, but Coursicle helped me get registered in all the classes I wanted within about 24-36 hours. The ONLY thing I would change right now is that the app only can track one semester at a time, so for schools that use a multi-term system it might be a bit disappointing to find out you can only track first term until about October. However, my school is set up like this and it was still extremely useful. Furthermore, I sent an email about this to the app developers, not expecting to hear back. I was actually shocked to receive a super speedy and polite reply within the same day. In a world where bad customer service is often the norm, I was so impressed. If you pay for Coursicle knowing exactly what it is able to do, I think you’ll be happy with the purchase. It saved me a ton of valuable time that I would have otherwise been using to sit in front of my computer hitting the refresh button (especially when I have more important things to do right now, like study for the MCAT!). 10/10 recommend, and am excited to see what improvements they make in the future.

The college I’m attending had me wait until I met with an advisor before signing up for my first classes. Lo and behold, the classes got filled up by the time I met with them, which infuriated me. I don’t remember how, but by some luck I stumbled on this app right after this occurred. I saw the app reviews on here saying it had a feature where you can track class openings, and get notified. And let me tell you, it was the BEST $7 ever spent. I got the classes I wanted the same minute a slot opened up. I didn’t have to worry about refreshing the class page a thousand times. For fun, I also tested what the notification delay is like by signing up for a class and dropping right out to see how long it took me to be notified. It’s always been about 45-60 seconds, which is more than enough time to have an advantage over others. Don’t listen to those whining about paying $7 every 4 months. That’s more than fair to get a leg up on other students.

I got this app so I could be notified when spots open up in some classes I wanted. This app didn’t notify me once even though spots were open in classes that I was tracking. Also you can only track one class before you have to pay. I got notifications when a new class was created but these classes had been created many hours before I even got a notification. This defeats the whole purpose of using this app to help you snag a spot in desired class because it’s so late to send out anything. 👎👎👎
