CRB Classical

This app worked fine until maybe a year ago, now it simply will not stream. A shame as I like their programming.

This app is in rough shape and makes CRB look very amateur and cheap. The boolean value "true" appears in a lot of spaces it should not, most annoyingly in the now playing screen. You cannot view the history of played songs. The "settings" page has no settings. You cannot collapse the "other streams" window, leaving the space of the song details incredibly narrow, especially on my iphone 13 mini. And the overall design is very dated. GBH should look into a different company than jacapps to develop their app infrastructure if they want to increase their listener base on mobile. You could probably hire a single developer in-house to make a better app.

Amazing app on the go but it doesn’t work at all via CarPlay. Always get an error when trying to play. Anyone else having this issue?

I love this station but please fix the “now playing” feature. It doesn’t appear at all.

The only thing this app seems to do is say "There was a problem downloading the audio". Maybe they should update the app more often than once every four years.

I adore this channel and have listened to it for decades. However the app is highly unreliable. When I try to read the information about the program, it immediately disappears. I end up throwing out the app several times a day. Then I reinstall it, and everything starts all over again. I can get the information I want on the website. But the app would certainly be more convenient if it functioned reliably.

Have to reboot phone after playing and stopping the app. Crashes when I try to play a channel later after having stopped a previous listening session. A reboot does not always work either. Good aspirations as an app but not there yet.

Sometimes this app works great and other times well really most times it doesn’t. It just keeps buffering and buffering and buffering and if my phone rings and I get a phone call and I try and go back to it it will not play at all. I think I need to find another classical station if this continues.

App keeps crashing. I keep having to download it constantly. Bufffffering… 👎

This app is a data hog and a significant drain on the battery. Used the app in my SUV; listened to the Bach stream. Used 10gb in five days, battery wouldn’t stay charged. Drained in less than 12 hours. Removed the app and data usage and battery life are back to normal.
