Finally a good rowing application that nearly works as well as the running applications. Next best thing to having a real speedcoach onboard. Some needed improvements are to allow free rather than paid uploads over 3G network rather than just wifi, allow upload to a standalone program that can be shared with rowers who are not on facebook, use something other than flash and make exploitable on iphone, show map view and check and bounce stats in uploads, allow synchronization with the concept 2 software that records kilometers logged on the ergometer for a complete individual and team training view with stats, allow automatic upload to facebook and twitter like run aps do, and finally, have the application cut off phone and text message alerts that block view of the program, and make a decent waterproof, mountable and durable case to protect and read the iPhone while rowing.

Can i download data as a fit file? Can you add a third data set to the graph? Stroke coach will show 500 meter pace, stroke rate, and heart rate on the same graph. Very pleased with CrewNerd. Especially the heart rate measurements because connecting a polar heart rate monitor to a speed coach can be difficult. Thanks

I have been using the app for over 4 years. It is easy to use. I especially like that you can change the screen to adjust for rowing in the dark or when there is light. I import the data into Apple Health for an Afib study I have been participating in for the past two years.

Good concept, poor implementation. The displayed data is all over the place, not at all accurate. Not recommended.

Works perfectly for kayaking, paddle boarding and rowing. Developer was extremely responsive, quickly making a fix that allows the app to run in the background while using other apps. Highly recommended!

Can’t get the app to record a workout.

Been using this app for many years, it’s outstanding during my rowing practices in the mornings. Visibility on smartphone screen is challenging to non-existent on sunny days.

Great app, useful and reliable. I would love if it would export to apple fitness (not just health) so it logs workout time and active/total calories. Silly - by it’s how my friends and I compete with fitness.
