So i have been following fire maple games for a while and liked their previous games so it was no doubt that I would get this one when i saw it. So i paid the price expecting something of similar quality to the previous games only to be meet with AI, all the people are ai, posters are ai and at least several ai generated environments. I would expect something like this if it was cheaper but at the price it’s at it’s outrageous. Its not even that good, text in the environment is literal garbage at times, the people have inconsistencies between expressions like the baby in the beginning of the game changing eye color, although i guess that baby was lucky as most don’t get more then one facial expression, most just keep one expression at all times no matter how inappropriate it feels. Also the dialog isn’t good either, i would say it was probably also written by ai but it is at times so clunky that i feel like it could only be written by a thirteen year old trying to write their first fanfic, so calling it ai feels like an insult to Ai, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like generative ai. Get actual artists and writers, your game will look and feel so much better. All this feels like is a cash grab.

I would totally recommend it! The gameplay and visuals are amazing and so is the background music. It’s definitely worth it and you get a good amount of entertainment for your money!

I love all of Maple Games so much and I really hope they make more alongside this!!! Keep up the great work!

I always look forward to new games by Fire Maple. I have all the ones they’ve made, both under their old name in the app store and this LLC name. I recommend all of them! If you want a chill puzzle solving game with fun art and music that makes it worth unmuting your phone to play, you can’t go wrong with this newest game. I think it has a bit more content than some of their older games, probably on par with the last few. Enough that it took me several sittings to complete, but I am super busy and don’t play for more than an hour at a time. Tip for fun: make sure to examine all the movie posters in the theater that you can; some of the fake movie posters and supertitle game commentary on them was quite fun!

this was so obviously AI generated… the scenes had weird blobs and nonsense lettering on posters and books, the people looked strangely uncanny, and the map was so unnecessarily large. I love fire maple games and grew up playing them. The art and scenery makes them so charming, but it doesn’t feel like that in this game. it’s not as immersive, the story wasn’t as high stakes as the others, and the AI uncanny-ness really just took me out of it. most of the puzzles and tasks were just back and forths between random townspeople. i’m gonna go play lost city to cheer myself up :’)

This game is INCREDIBLE. Played the whole thing in one go in 2 hours and 30 minutes. I love love love firemaple and hope they continue the good work.
