Chapter 3 : squads simply won’t move anymore .. seems like a known bug with no fix .. game unplayable at this point

Updated on 1/7-2020, after opening from app store to make sure that wasn’t any updates, crashed again after battle before Elysium. So beat him Okonokowo (or whatever) 5 times now. After final battle in chapter 5, you have your conversation with Okonokonowo or whatever his name is. The view switch to Elysium, and the game crashes. Taken final battle 4 times now, happens identicaly everytime. Have restarted my iPad, newest non-pro from 2020, tried reinstalling app. Still same result. But even that you can’t complete it doesn’t make it better. It’s an ok game, and I enjoyed it, but I was getting bored by the end. Only new events per run, were sector specific, and the ships are really not that different. Same goes for the officers. There doesn’t appear to be more than 6 ships, but a ton of unlockable officers, which is just slightly better by having 3 skills instead of 2. So only reason for replay is to unlock officers, or beat it on hard, but I don’t hate myself that much. Good attempt, I would give it 4 of 6 if you could actually complete it.

This is one of the coolest and most brutal grim dark sci fi settings i have ever seen more so than 40k i loved it and the ending gave me shivers. DO NOT DO WHAT I DID AND GOOGLE THE ENDING EARLY THOUGH IT IS A MISTAKE!! Anyways if your are willing to fork over a few bucks for a fun game then get this game. P.s. the story is better than the gameplay

A solid tactical space roguelike. Decent UI, fun rock-paper-scissors combat with some twists, and a decent enough story. Would recommend to folks who want an FTL-esque experience on mobile.

I can tell a lot of effort went into making this game. The art is nice, there’s ample lore/world-building, and there’s lots of content. The problem is, that for me at least, it just isn’t fun. There are so many game mechanics that constantly bombard you with choices and decisions that just feel inconsequential. The RTS space combat system is particularly disappointing. At first glance it has so much depth and promise with numerous ship upgrades, weapons, officers, and three different classes of units where each squadron can be independently managed and upgraded. But it hardly matters. In the end combat is largely a game of rock paper scissors between the three different types of units. My recommendation - go play FTL instead. That’s what I’ve found myself doing when trying to get into this game.

Bought the game a couple days ago and I love it. The combat flows and scales nicely depending on what difficulty you pick. The story and lore is a slow drip with an interesting twist. I only really have two complaints. Every now and again the game boots me out when I’m about to win a fight and will continue to do so if I approach it the same way again and again. It’s not a big deal on a lower difficulty as all I have to do is change my tactics, but on a higher challenge it’s a nuisance and makes quick runs demoralizing as this bug is more common than I’d like to admit. My second is the length of the game. This game is SHORT. A handful of hours and you’re done. It’s a bit disappointing giving how much attention went into the world building. I feel an expansion would give this game the time it needs to feel even better. If you like post apocalyptic Sci-fi this game is an easy grab.

I’ve nearly won a combat 4 times now using Juggernaut, but at the last moment the game crashed and I have to start the 2 combat sequence over. This is extremely frustrating, please fix the crashes.

Great game, love it, but I can’t freaking finish it because it is crashing! Act five scene 3 and I can’t fight Okonkwo because it crashes!!!!! 5star game, 1star rating until fixed!

It’s a lovely game except for the frequent crashes. I cannot proceed past a certain point in the story. If it worked, it would be 5 stars for me.

Great art, fun easter eggs, and engaging plot-lines. This game scratches the itch that FTL created and adds some more fun with the RTS elements. The story is convoluted (in a good way), so there's plenty of interesting content, even after a few runs. There are a few spelling mistakes scattered throughout and the game consistently crashes at very inopportune moments, resulting in me needing to replay the same mission dozens of times before advancing. Additionally, I still cannot unlock the chapter 4 ship, despite finishing the entire story, as the end-of-chapter cutscene is always interrupted by a crash lol
