CurrencyFair Money Transfer

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use this company. The staff are completely incompetent. I signed up a year ago and they still haven’t cleared KYC and allowed me to use their service. Keep in mind that I am a lawyer from New Zealand…I have provided them with all the documents they requested and they still haven’t given me access to my account (I am currently locked out for some unknown reason). Save yourself a lot of time and stress and use a different company.

Highly unprofessional and didn't have knowledge of what they are doing. Taking personal identity and address proof documents is their first priority. And finally they tell you sorry and lock your account. You can't even delete your documents that you provided.

Really happy with CF saved me a fortune compared to bank transfers. My only dislike on the app is that it sometimes logs me out and I need to type in email address and password again and again as opposed to Face ID (first world problems) Hopefully this gets resolved on the next update.

The app makes conversion and transfer with CF super convenient. 100% satisfied with the app and the CF service in general.

Easy to use app and great service

I did a transfer of $16000 and then currency fair locked my account so I’ve been unable to access it. Many mails sent to support and as yet not a single reply ( other than generic automated responses). I rang and after 30mins did manage to speak to someone who unlocked my account but I’m now still waiting for the money to be transferred in. This used to be a good service but it’s gone rapidly downhill and is now more hassle than it’s worth.

I have been using Currencyfair for several years and generally have been satisfied. However, despite receiving confirmation of receipt of funds on the 26th of April, the funds have not been credited to my account and still show pending. Despite endless emails will I get our automated responses and as for trying to contact by phone to speak to someone all I get is we are experiencing unusually high call volumes. I do not understand why it is not possible to reach someone and why over a month after receiving funds, they have not been credited to my account. Furthermore, a weakening of the euro against pound sterling means I have lost a significant amount amount of money too.

I certainly use currency fair once a month. Excellent fast service however even though I register face/passcode every time each month it asks for verification. Bit frustrating.
