D-Link defend

I have children using the network and unable to monitor or restrict access because the app keeps crashing , I purchased this router specially because of its features , seems like a waste of money

It keeps loading forever

It does not pause or meter the connection for devices when configured in the settings. Instead, these devices still have functional connections to the network. In addition to this, random devices (which have been registered and “secured” on D-Link Defend), stop being able to use the Wi-Fi. That is, they are still connected, but the connection is not functional. -On my TV, it permanently says that Wi-Fi is not connected (even though it is?) -On my other devices, it says the Wi-Fi is connected, but it doesn’t work. Only way to connect to the Wi-Fi is by disconnecting and reconnecting, a solution that only fixes the problem for 2-10 mins on average. Totally horrible, messy software. 0/5

Suddenly I cannot access my D-Link defend, it keeps telling me to launch my D-Link wifi app, I accept the terms of service and click keep protecting me but it just cycles around and doesn’t connect me back to the D-Link defend app. This is very frustrating as I cannot or control my devices. Can this be resolved please. Allan

The green light on the devices that are actively connected doesn’t show. Can’t figure out why and am very upset. I just bought this. It’s like buying junk if it doesn’t work how it’s supposed to.

Every time I wish to access the devices that I want to control and turn the internet settings off for, the apt never activates! I can’t access the apt when away from home either, I don’t like this software, and it seriously needs fixing!!!

Just in circle loop when app is launched.

App does not work as advertised, contacted support and no resolution. Stuck with a half operable Covr system. Would give less stars if I could.

I have had no end of trouble with the original D-fend. I was hoping this was a fix all. Unfortunately i can’t even get it to connect.
