Didn’t find anything comparable feature wise with such ease of use. Reliable and syncs across all devices. Absolutely best for me.

I use this deceptively simple data store for more and more useful applications. The main benefits are it syncs between my Macs and iOS devices; I can read and write to it via Shortcuts and JavaScript; It povides a very stable data store for snippets of data. Do take advantage of puting values into dictionaries to group your values which you can then refer to using dictionary.value as the vaue name.

It’s good and I can use it to store data, but sometimes it makes the shortcut a bit slower.

There are some apps that are a must-have if you use Shortcuts, and this one is the top of the list.

I was searching for a way to keep track of bar stock but needed a data container to remember all the quantities. This app fits the bill perfectly and was so easy to implement so thank you very much!

Why can't Shortcuts persist information between sessions? No idea, but Data Jar neatly plugs the gaps.
