This app is genuinely amazing. I’m just a teenager who likes chopping up cool sounds and I’m inspired by artists like DOOM and Kanye but I’m not using this for anything commercial. I’m simply wasting my time and I’ve spent HOURS on this app and it is nearly perfect. It’s got great filters and stuff. My only issue is that it crashes sometimes when I try to zoom in on a chop. I would also like to see some more features like allowing a soundpad to stop when another one is played or something like that to stop overlap but other than that this app is great. It has nearly everything that a paid one would have

Every time I go to open my saved song it crashes (it also kept crashing while I was trying to program the sample pads…)

I’ll start off by saying this app is beautiful out the box it gives off a dope vibe but the mechanics of this beat making machine is very in need of a touch up I would almost certain switch from koala to Dawnbeat if the process wasn’t so extra and I think that’s what koala dis so well was how not extra and straight to the point it is however this app has some issues that I’m hoping will eventually be fixed or changed 1. There’s no choke button in the sampler page meaning you have to individually choke each sample and the navigation to that option is super out the way it took me a few minutes to find it 2. As a sampler I was hoping there would be more sampling freedom however when I think of sampler I think of the first one I ever used which was sliceX on FL studio super basic straight to the point you add slice markers and drag and drop samples you slice however the one on dawn beat is very extra for no reason at all you can’t individually add marker points to my knowledge there are two styles of sampling you can do one of them in my opinion is useless so for me there is only one way to sample and the only way to increase markers is to slide this bar to populate but how would I know how many I need in the first place also the bars that populate are dotted lines and look a little ugly to me but that’s just my personal opinion 3. Recording and sequencing samples recording is easy sequencing seems easy enough but when it comes to samples it’s either you find the exact bpm for your samples or good luck to my knowledge and observation there is not time stretch that can match up your sample to the bars/beats Those are just a few things I can think off the top of my head other than that the app is pretty dope I won’t say I regret spending money on this app I see it more as an investment I truly believe this app could be a koala competitor it just needs a little extra love and care so I’m excited to see over time how it develops into the beat machine I know it’s capable of being!

Talk about nailing it right out of the box… So: I happen to be a pretty serious about another marsupial-named sampler auv3 app that’s very popular (and for good reason. It’s changed my workflow for the better.) I saw Dawnbeat kind of randomly but once I saw who the developer was, I was intrigued: VectorQ is one of my GOAT graphic design apps. Right away the workflow is pretty well organized, the effects are great, and the design is fantastic… maybe even a bit better than the eucalyptus-driven cousin if I dare say so, especially on my iPhone 13. The coup de grace though is INTERNAL AUV3 support - that is a massive gamechanger! Will definitely be playing a lot more with this and putting it through its paces to see what it’s made of. Definitely impressed so far, expect this to only get better.

I love it. It’s an actually good functioning daw and free! Only thing I don’t like is if a sample starts playing you can’t stop it it plays until it’s over unless I change jt to only play when I hold it. If you could have a button to stop all audio that would make dis 5 stars. That’s my only complaint but is enough for -1 star. Overall tho amazing app

This sampler app was already 5 stars from me but unbeknownst to me, you had updated it a couple days ago and added MORE FEATURES like BRIIKS (which seems to be another app) that allows quick chopping, time stretching, and effects manipulation of samples into the Dawnbeat. Wow I had no clue this was added until now and have spent good amount of time messing around with samples. You are one talented app dev Luis!

I can’t believe how much functionality is in this little app. HUGE FUN FACTOR!

Got to appreciate the work and effort of this developer. Nice app and interface of this fun beat maker. Consistent effort to update and improve very commendable.

everytime i select a project it just closes the app entire and i can’t use it anymore. please fix it this has soo much potential

For what i can tell it looks like an amazing music app...but it keeps crashing when i try to add sounds...crashing every time i try to add a sound from audioshare...crashing most times ( sometimes it works) while adding sounds from either my folder or the included sound libraries...i wish this can be fixed...i really think i could enjoy this app...its exactly what i was looking for...but as it is ...its useless... Can you help me? Thanks
