Best way to learn new English words!
As an English learner, I always find looking up words in a traditional dictionary is not enough for me to really understand it. The textual definitions aren’t easy to absorb; I don’t really get to know how the words are used in real life. But this App finds a really unique way to change that! They say an image is worth a thousand words, and that’s so true because many words are much better understood by illustrating the meanings with images rather than texts. I just hope images are available for more words in this App! Also I find the YouTube clips are super super helpful for me to get the ideas how native speakers use these words in real life, and how they are pronounced, not by themselves, but together with other words. Brilliant idea. The Urban dictionary and Wikipedia are also useful by their own means. I can easily see this App becoming my go-to vocabulary tool moving forward. Just hope the UI can become a little more modern. Right now it’s a little too “plain & classy”.
