Desert Golfing

I just completed my second play through. It does end after 10,000 holes. It is a sad moment. I guess you have to delete the game and reinstall to start again. I just wish there were more games like it so I could have a little more variety in this area of my life. It’s endlessly playable, and you can just immediately start playing as soon as you open it. So it is a wonderful replacement for the reflex action of reaching for your phone to go doomscrolling. And there’s nothing spammy about it. And the physics is just complex enough that you can develop a real muscle memory skill over time, and notice how good you are getting by how often you get mindless hole-in-ones.

Don't waste your money or time on the absolute piece of rubbish. Everything about this game is terrible, from the terrible graphics to the diabolical physics. I have deleted the game and submitted a refund request, which I have never done for any of the hundreds of apps I've previously purchased. What I won't be getting back is my precious time completely wasted on this useless pile of $%@&!!!.

This is the best mobile game of all time

I've been playing this for years. I still love it. I've just noticed you've released Golf on Mars though, so I've downloaded it, and it could replace this as my number 1 time-killer!

This a hugely enjoyable game, the kind you can pick up for 2 minutes or 2 hours. The seemingly simple nature of the game allows for a great deal of inventive gameplay and subtle thinking. Also, it’s a curiously calming experience, there’s a mediative feeling about it- the lack of ending, the unimportance of your score, how each hole is different but oddly the same- I love it! (I’m currently on hole 2643 after 6740 shots btw.)

I love this game as I’ve plenty of time on my hands and all holes are possible if you’re creative; BUT there are no more than 10000 holes as the last hole ends up next to an ocean with no land on the other side! So I delete the game and reload it to start it all again, but the scenery can be quite different.

This game has been great when all I’ve wanted was a few minutes or a couple of hours of mindlessly putting a ball over some dastardly obstacles and into the wee hole to forget bad news things like pandemics. My favourite downloaded game and well worth the £0.00 cost. The only downside is that after 25978 shots over about a year I got to hole 10000 and it’s completed. I’ll struggle to find an adequate replacement so may just see if I can delete and reinstall.

It’s so addictive but relaxing at the same time. I love how it doesn’t matter how many shots you take, it’s so simple and lovely

Ok for first 20 minutes but then gets dull. No evolution of the game. Not worth the money.
