Pretty major bugs
I tried to buy a day pass. Selected Apple Pay, and double clicked to approve. Got an error about my post code not being right or something and it failed. Then I saw my Apple Pay notification saying the £4 went through anyway. Confirmed in bank app. Charge was there, but no ticket in the app. Needed the ticket, so paid again using bank card. Worked. Now two charges to my account. Tried to scan the ticket on the bus, but it kept detecting the NFC reader and Apple Pay kept popping up my cards! The bus driver let me go after multiple tries, and looking at the ticket. Guess he’s seen this before. The NFC is supposed to be disabled while the app is open, but it obviously isn’t. This app cannot be trusted. I’m sure I’ll get my extra £4 back somehow, but why wouldn’t it accept my Apple Pay? I use it everywhere else daily. What’s my post code with the bank got to do with it? The bank approved the payment, and my post code is correct. The scanning is very broken. I will use a machine and a paper ticket if I try this again. Fix your failed app.
