I’ve been using the Oxford dictionary app, but had to get rid of it after they started to force the subscription by restricting to one word a day. And downloaded this app. I am acquainted with the free dictionary, I use the web-site version from time to time. But the app is amazed me, it is so much better that the rest of the dictionaries. Not only it has no restrictions whatsoever, it even works with the languages other that English. And it’s much better German dictionary than the one I’ve been using even though it’s a dedicated German dictionary. Just perfect

This app is very helpful and motivating. Every day you can learn something new. Also it’s very cool that you can get phrases with word you were trying to find. And idioms!!! I am so dumb 🗿 at this, but app helps me a lot. Please , one more thing is that it would be nice if we could find sentences by our rased phrase. For example, I would like to find few sentences with phrase “looks as if”. And it would be very helpful if I could find sentences with such phrase.

That’s the app i was looking for. Offline mode, fast speed. Would’ve changed the design tho for better text recognition. As brain sees it as white stain.
