Use Digital iD™ to prove you’re over 18^, and for everyday tasks like collecting items from the Post Office. Use Digital iD™ online for redirecting mail, applying for a police check or opening a bank account with participating organisations, and more. Anyone living, studying or working in Australia can use it as proof of identity.
It’s easy to start using Digital iD™ to prove who you are in person:
Enter the details of two ID documents (including your passport or driver’s licence)
Take and verify your photo using your electronic passport, or by visiting a participating Post Office
If you’re 18 or older, you can get a free Keypass in Digital iD™ that you can use to enter licensed venues or purchase alcohol in select States and Territories^.

Absolutely pathetic
This isn't a scam in the usual sense. It is a scam in that the 'service' is completely useless! My “code” has never come through. I was unable to use the service as expected. I would NEVER recommend this App to my worst enemy! This App is truly a disgrace! If I could rate it as Zero I would!
Useful for nothing
The so-called Digital ID Builder is an exercise in data collection by Australia Post. There is no need to collect all those additional pieces of information. This app is useful for nothing.
Can’t just transfer to new phone
I have a new phone and just wanted log back in to the app. Instead, I have to set it up again. No

Primitive app!
Great app but useless
Big thumbs up to the developers who made this app , the user interface is easy to use and intuitive, digital photo id registration process is quick and faultless. The only problem is our local post officer doesn’t endorse this app and insists me to provide other id or else won’t let me collect my parcel. Now I’m deleting this app and going back to the good old driver license which always works!
Waste of time
Didn’t work. Asked for a 6 digit pin, then only allowed 5 digits, and when I entered the same 5 , I got a message saying they didn’t match. Typical Post Office, pathetic
Why do we need a digital ID
New world order and the Antichrist mechanism is in progress. Unless you are a Christian of Faith you won’t understand.If the post office is hacked that’s it your photo is on the internet and identity is on the web for Ever. You cannot recall or is there for good.
Pin reset requires 24 hour wait
What in the name of ? Why do I need to wait that long? What of I need to access my ID now for Centrelink application? And even then, I entered the reset pin, it also came out with error message saying the entered code is incorrect. Is there another way apart from waiting 24 hours?
Useless
Good idea but probably the most useless app out there. As I have tried to use this app at multiple places and they all have said it needs to be a photo of your id or 99% of the time they won’t even let u use it and need you to show physical id
