Disc Finder: Disc Golf Bag

Great interface, quick response by dev., useful for the Discdle!

This is a great App for tracking Discs per bag layout. Comparing discs and seeing how your bag is set up is extremely useful. The data base to search for discs is awesome and the direct link to 1010 Disc is a cool feature for finding new discs. There will no doubt be things to add and refine, but this is a great start!!

TLDR: customer support is top notch, the app is extremely helpful with sorting and building a bag. Buying through the app supports the creators of Disc Finder. Highly recommend this app. Ive been using the disc finder app for a few weeks now. I think it would be useful to anyone who plays the sport, but as a new player to the game, it’s been a critical tool in building a disc bag. You can add discs to your bag to see how they fly based on stability and speed ratings in the chart. There are 5 different “bags” (essentially a table that places the disc in a grid by speed and stability) so you can build multiple bags for different purposes, i.e. your everyday bag, travel bag, glow bag etc. Pertaining to the customer support: I was having some trouble purchasing discs through 1010discs.com via the app. It’s been a very helpful tool and buying through the app gives a portion of the sale to the creator of the app, Jeff. I wanted to make a few disc purchases but was having trouble with the window, it wouldn’t allow me to add discs to the cart. I emailed Jeff with my trouble and was briefly responded to. He worked with me to troubleshoot the problem and has been able to work in a fix on the next update. If you do run into that same trouble, just add the disc to your liked discs and you’ll be able to add it to your cart from there.

This app is just what I was looking for to track my disc inventory. Super convenient being able to pull up a list of discs in an app on my phone vs trying to view the spreadsheets I have been using. The are a few bugs to work out and maybe a few features to add to make this a true 5-star app. Suggested Improvements: - Smooth out scrolling through list of discs in Bag Builder. Scrolling seems to stick/lock up randomly, when filtering/sorting, or when changing views. - Make sorting in the Bag Builder view semi-persistent when switching between there and the Gap Report. Switching pages/views always resets my Bag Builder to default “Name” sorting. - In the Gap Report where there are multiple discs for a square, maybe add a pop-up that can show what discs are in that square.

This is definitely an incredibly useful and helpful app to have for maintaining a collection and cataloguing your discs! I would love to see the ability to share your collections or bags with other people who have the app so you can look at the differences and similarities between your bags and disc choices.

Was looking for an app that I could catalogue my discs as well as their attributes. I use UDisc as well to maintain my collection, track throws, distance, etc, but having Disc Finder as a companion is awesome. Easy to look up discs and more importantly flight numbers and flight paths to fill the gaps in your bag. And having it linked to 1010 Discs is the cherry on top! Love those guys. Great selection and fast shipping! If you are looking for an app with all the disc information you could need, look no further. Easy to navigate as well! Two thumbs up from this guy!

Very useful app! If I had one suggestion it would be when in grid view it would be great if I could click on the open squares and it would show me all disc options that would fill that slot. I have open slots in my bag and I find it rather difficult to search for disc to fill those. Otherwise, great job!!
