Overall good
I am editing/updating this review, and raising it by 1 star. I have been using this app every day (as a driver) for over a year. We use it for roll-off containers and portable toilets and that ranges from 10-100 tickets per day, generally over 40. 99% of the time we work off the map view and click on tickets from there. Green for open tickets, orange for in-progress, black for complete. Pretty straight-forward. It does not seem to “create a route” for you, and relies on your Map App to guide you, but in this business so much changes at the last minute that you’re better off just hiring smart drivers who can route in their head on-the-fly and let them do their thing, which this app allows nicely. As long as your device has excellent service then this app is great for every day use. But it struggles and the drivers suffer in areas with poor cellular coverage… A major remaining flaw with this app is its capabilities in a poor service area, or even worse, a no-service area. The “map view” is constantly refreshing itself - far too often - and in areas with no service this refresh fails, in which case you can’t do ANYTHING. Can’t back out to look at the address, can’t see any tickets, can’t log back in, can’t do ANYTHING. Many of these places us drivers are going to are in the boonies, off-the-grid, etc. Very poor cell service, if any. Better offline capabilities would greatly improve this app. One of my suggestions would be to only refresh the tickets and map geolocations when the dispatcher/secretary/office changes something for that day, and allow the drivers to zoom in, move around the map, and change days freely in poor or no-service areas. Also, please add different colors for types of tickets on the admin-side. So for instance a dispatcher can add a ticket for a septic pump and make that ticket on the map appear blue, while a ticket for a porta-potty service would be green…. Or for a dumpster driver, a 10 yard container could be blue, a 20 yard container could be green, and a 30 yard could be purple. Or, tickets with special instructions can be marked in a separate color to clearly stand out to the drivers. So when a driver is looking at the map view, he can mentally assess and plan his day at a glance easier :) Flagging tickets with special notes helps drivers notice them, but with 100 tickets for a day, it can be easy to miss a flag when scrolling through the list, and flags don’t appear on the map view which is the most-used feature of the app by far
