My app crashed after years of dives saved. I assumed it would be saved with my account but no. It’s gone. After looking into it, you can upload your dive log to the dive cloud but only 10 dives for free and then you have to pay. Pretty useless. Can’t wait to get rid of my aqualung computer and will never go back after this.

The app crashed and lost all my dives. I’ve changed computers so can’t get it back. Called support and got a big “huh… that’s weird” as an answer.

It’s a cool app and simple to use but as soon as you name the dive site you lose all your gps data... pretty lame for a diving log that offers gps location tagging.

1. Being able to tilt the iPhone to get a full screen view of the dive graph is gone. 2. Folders are gone. I used those to separate dive logs from different computers. Syncing between devices does not sync enough information; things like the buddy list you may have already set up on your computer. This was a flaw I see in all versions of Diverlog: Tank pressure information is saved in the graph but has to be manually entered in the actual dedicated area. If the DC uses a wireless transmitter and it’s not used then I can understand those fields being blank. My SAGE (when it correctly reads the tank pressure) is directly integrated to my scuba cylinder with a quick-release connection. There is no transmitter... maybe the app should have that option when being set-up. Wireless Tank Transmitter or Direct Connection so that when dive data is uploaded it fills in all the necessary option. A battery life indicator would also be nice. My iPhone can let me know how much of a charge my Bluetooth headphones have, so why can’t this app let me know how much of a charge my Bluetooth enabled DC has when it’s uploading dive data ? I do have more suggestions and a few more grievances but most of them are related more to my DC than to the DiverLog apps. I will put in one DC suggestion though: ability to set scuba cylinder type and size.

It won’t sync my dive data to the app even when Bluetooth is on for both devices, very frustrating

Very disappointed in this product. While the app syncs with the DC fine the computer changes the Elapsed Dive time. I have this issue on many dives. For instance, on an 81ft dive, the elapsed dive time is recorded as a 5 min dive. The Tank bottom time, as recorded by transmitter, is 41 min. The 41 min is the correct time. I have been reaching out to the developers since Aug and at first had responses of “we are working on it” but the last 3 times, since Jan, I have received no answer. The issue of the incorrect Elapsed time has thrown off all my stats and has made the app basically useless for data tracking and proof of dives.

Twice, the app has frozen and cost me all my dove information. If I have to use this with my computer, I’ll get a new computer.

When it works it’s ok. But it frequently won’t open. There is some glitch that needs fixing.

Updated the app as I was instructed to do. All information on my account was lost! Dive buddy had the same issue on another account!

I did the update and now it will not download my data.
