This DK Visual Dictionary app is the perfect companion to your visual dictionary. For each language, over 7,000 words and phrases are spoken in both English and the language of the title. All words are from the books and are spoken by native speakers. Simply download the free app, then use your copy of the book to fully access all the audio.

This clear, comprehensive, and easy-to-use app contains all the content from each Bilingual Visual Dictionary. Just like the book, the vocabulary is arranged thematically, with subjects including shopping, food and drink, study, work, travel and transport, health and appearance, sport and leisure, technology, and the home. Search for the page you want, tap on any word to listen to it being spoken, scroll up and down the word lists for each topic, and swipe left or right to go to the next or previous page.

Не загружается аудио. Дизайн колхозный.

Не загружается аудио для книги испанский-английский. Дизайн выглядит сырым. Огромные иконки в тап баре и другие мелочи портят общее впечатление.

Great idea poor execution

I Love the dictionary itself, and I absolutely hate the app. Doesn’t work as it’s supposed to both on my phone and tablet. I really was excited to use this app, but not all languages are useable (despite being downloaded). French never works, other languages are working chaotically, for example I tap on German and the app plays Italian….

Amazing book!

my best find to learn English visually, everything is very simple and intuitive! it would be great if we added a book on Turkish

Visual bilingual dictionary French English

Шикарный словарь для начинающих учить иностранные языки, в моём случае - это английский и французский. Огромное преимущество данного словаря перед другими - это удобное аудио приложение с качественным воспроизведением слов. Для меня этот словарь находка. Счастлива безмерна. Спасибо разработчикам. Буду рекомендовать друзьям.

Can’t scan or enter barcode (((

I have Russian English book and can’t use it via app ;(

Impossible to use

Barcode can neither be scanned nor written, tried many times on several phones, the app doesn’t work. What a disappointment!

Won’t take my barcode

I used to have the app connectet to my French book. Later, I opened the application and kind of signed me out. So I scanned again the barcode but it says it cannot be recognized. What shall I do now??

TOTAL FAILURE.

Barcode scan: Fail! Keyboard input of ISBN: FAIL! USABILITY: NONEXISTENT, FAILURE! IPAD LANDSCAPE OPTION: NONE, FAILURE! REVIEWER PRAISING SUPPORT? NONE, FAILURE. Now, off to Amazon to warn potential buyers.

Barcode not working

I scanned the barcode and it say make sure the free audio app picture is on the front which it is. It’s all over the book: please fix this

Chinese Audio Will Not Install

I downloaded the app, could not get Chinese audio to download. I deleted and re-downloaded the app three times and still could not get audio to download. I’m very disappointed I paid good money for a dictionary to use while I travel that I can’t even use. Do not recommend!!!
