Doggy Time: Puppy Training Log

Loved this app, so much so I paid for premium features for a year. After about a month I lost access to them and the app started asking me to pay again. This makes it too late to request a refund and I have had no response after reaching out to the developer. This leaves me paying for something I am not receiving.

Me and my partner love this app, we bought the premium version and use it together to keep track of our puppy Nova. It’s fantastic at keeping track of anything really, but great for toilet training and getting a grasp on your puppy’s bladder and bowel movements. We also use it to set up reminders for feeding times, vet appointments, routine vaccinations, and and flea/worm treatments. The only negative thing I can say about Doggy Time is the notifications, there’s no audible notification sounds so we often miss them if we’re not paying close attention to our devices. This definitely needs fixing and improving upon!

The app is ‘promising’ but it has a number of features to improve. For starters the main issue is that synchronisation between users does not happen all the time and sometimes the data simply does not sync at all. Besides it would be good to have more tailored views on the progress and/or heatmap and to be able to easily navigate by dates or change over periods of time. Let alone to be able to export the date if wanted to a csv or any other format. Last but not least, this is the kind of app that could honestly do with a widget, let alone an Watch app. As it stands now, it ‘does the job’ and has a decent interface to make it useful. But so far the best that can be said is it has a lot of potential.

Just got the app, looks good for my needs. Would be nice to add custom activities such as enrichment or free time etc

Great app for alongside training a new puppy it’s great to know when there last sleep/poop was when switching over to the dog sitter. It could be made even better by having activity’s auto log onto current date and the reminders to be able to be ticked off and not floating there all day I also would love an option to add a focus for the day such as heel training. Otherwise fantastic app really recommend.

Pretty awesome and practical app - when you enter an activity it should default to the day you’re already logging activities for, as its a pain having to constantly flip back the dates If you could upload existing data that’d also be amazing You should also be able to set how long your dog’s sleep lasted, for proper data to be produced

Subscribed to the premium version and sent a question to the help line and have received no response.

I wish this app had the same format as Dogo for potty training and tracking which I think is easier to read. The way activities are logged for each day is chaotic on the eyes and hard to see patterns. Love the feature ye for sharing w family and friends and the specific care info profiles that can be shared also

When we decided to adopt a puppy, the search began for a solid app that could assist us with training. We wanted one with an intuitive user interface that my wife and I could use, along with our 10-year-old. Doggy Time is that app! While it could use a better name, it allows us to seamlessly track all aspects of puppy care with an easy-to-use design. The developers are also very responsive and update the app frequently to add features. As confirmation of this, I requested one feature and saw it implemented within days! One final note of praise - and what originally got me interested in this app - was the Apple Watch compatibility. It’s so nice to not need your phone when logging something, especially those frequent puppy potty breaks! Overall, if you’re looking for a super useful, dependable, and - dare I say - fun, app to use for your puppy/dog training, that literally gets better by the day, this is it! I’d even go so far as to say this is one of the best smartphone apps I’ve ever used, period. Well done!
