They closed my account for no reason, won’t give me my money and won’t answer any attempts at contacting them to get said money. Seems illegal, if you ask me.

I love this banking app and it helps me save so much. So sad to see if leave the States

I suggest going to a real bank. This company is a scam and will lock you out of your account from YOUR OWN MONEY you worked hard for. They will claim it’s for an account review, how many times in one month you have to review my account. I get my reg work direct deposit and you all steal it !!!

I am utterly shocked at this company. I used to have Simple and switched to Douugh after they shut down. I don’t do much with the account, but over the last three months they locked down my account. They gave me a list of things to do to verify that I in fact own the account. One item was very confusing so I sent in a support email for clarification. I got an auto-reply of just the same email of instructions. I have yet (3-months later) to receive a clarification. I recently got notified that “due to suspicious activity” they’re going to shut down my account. I finally got a support rep who took the hold off of my account so I could withdraw my funds before they shut off my account, but it didn’t work. The support rep asked me to delete and redownload the app and reset my password. I did but I am still unable to login. I sent that information back to the support rep and he has just resent the same email every time I’ve tried to follow up. I’m convinced my support rep Christian is just a bit now. Douugh has a support phone line which I’ve called. I have never had my call get picked up. I go into a queue listening to hold music for 15 minutes before I get a notice that no support reps are available. I leave my name and number and they never get back to me. I’ve finally received an email yesterday that they’ve shut down my account. I still cannot get a hold of anyone and they have over a thousand dollars of my money. Worst company I’ve ever interacted with. Stay away from this company, they’re just a front until you deposit enough money that they can then lock you out of your account and take your cash. 100% scam.

I have been unable to log into my account and access my accounts for about a week now. I emailed about it and they responded that my account was locked and asked for all kinds of verification. I asked why my account was locked and provided the verification documents requested. They did not tell me why it was locked and responded with “I don’t know when the account will be unlocked again.” I’m sorry but does that not count as holding my money hostage?! Absolutely unacceptable. I won’t be using Douugh for this reason and many others.

SCAM app suspended my account for no reason

Y’all some scammers ik y’all receive that email from my layer stating I’m sure y’all for false advertising and holding my funds against my will and I post bad reviews on ever sign I can think of

I love this app when it works, but when I need something from them it’s literally the worst experience. Took me 20 mins to find a number to call, I’ve had to call them twice in the past. I don’t know how I ended up getting the same person and he was not helpful at all. I could go on about this but the main point is this. We need someone always available to call and adequately help us with issues as it relates to our money. This is unacceptable. And to the developers who are going to respond to this with your fake empathy, just fix the problem. I don’t need you to be sorry I feel this way.Hire new people who can help asap. That’s it, that’s the solution.

This bank is a big fraud! Provided all required for my funds to be released yet till still held within their bank. I no longer trust them so I won’t advise y’all do. Bank wisely. It’s a NO NO NO for your salary payment…

They suspended my account for “routine reviews” and had me send a bunch of documents to reopen it. They also don’t allow screenshots which is wild in a time of so many things being paperless. Nonetheless, I sent them everything they needed and they unsuspended the account. They then resuspended my account not even a week later when I hadn’t even used it since them reopening it for more “routine reviews”. When I told the lady that I had just verified my account last week and that this was ridiculous she responded that my account was closed. I now cannot access any money that was in the account or anything. I also once had a charge that I needed disputed and they offered no help whatsoever and only told me that I needed to have the company that made the charge handle it. Do not open a Douugh account. They have terrible service and will steal your money.
