Drum Beats

Audio quality poor, recorded too hot, too compressed. Broken fidelity especially when you slow tempo. Beats have way too many fills to be good f any practical use composing music. Author should study how beats fit intros, verse, chorus, bridges etc. drums are rarely solo instruments they “ Back” other instruments and add flare in strategically as drum breaks not simple stuffed into every measure overcrowding the soundscape. “It’s the silence between notes that give the notes Dynamics. Dynamics is what gives the music human feelings. Without dynamics its a monotone voice that puts the ears asleep.

I love this app. Solid. Simple. Fun grooves to play over.

There are 50 drum beat patterns, but too many funk 1,2,3,... funky 1,2,3.... 10 different samples under same category sound same!! Would be better if ... [1] organize and downsize them to only 10-20 patterns. [2] add numerical value to speed instead of just a slider

Such great sounds to practice to instead of a boring regular metronome. Simple easy interface too. I just wish it displayed the bpm in the corner so you’d know what speed you were at within the app.

Great that it's free. Would be handy to know what time signature the beats are.

I am a drummer and I dig the fact that I can pretty much play all these beats and slow them down to figure out if they need be great tool even for a seasoned player !
