Preflop range very far from reality
Great idea. But preflop ranges very far from reality. Therefore, further actions are meaningless:(
Effective and addictive trainer used by some of the strongest players in poker
High stakes pro Dominik Nitsche and team have developed an extensive Game Theory puzzle app that is focused on tournament conditions and stack sizes. With over 50 common tournament spots and an insane amount of hole card/flop conditions within each spot the user is constantly honing post flop skills in order to reduce in game mistakes and blunders. Basically teaching to prevent EV errors. There are leaderboards for each spot which are oddly addictive and three tiers of subscription service. Most importantly there is a very active discord group of good players including the world class player/developer and his team who are providing inputs and analysis DAILY. An unheard of amount of support. Even at the lowest sub level there is plenty of bang for the buck especially considering poker coaching can run well over ten times the sub price for a single session. Finally they continue to aggressively develop the app which just shows how devoted this group is to this product. Best poker training app and its not even close.
Good but quirky
Great for 6 handed scenarios, though that does translate very well into most live poker scenarios. In addition it’s often very short stacks in general so it’s good for tournament play, hence the name. The small issues I’ve encounter have to do with the interface. The login often “forgets” and requires resigning in, which doesn’t use any of the native abilities to remember username and passwords. The username and password field don’t allow cut/paste on apple so you have to manually type in your credentials, small stuff, but it really makes it clunky.
Great practice
I just have the free version but it is a great tool to practice with
