Ads only being turned “off” on free ride for subscribers only is clearly a money chasing exercise

You can’t use the bike without their stupid app, and I’m not spending 30$+ a month to ride a stationary bike ill go to Walmart and buy one for 100$ it will probably come with a lot more options than this expensive piece of junk comes with. What a waste of money and a ripoff. I’m fuming rn. I wish I would’ve read the reviews 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I purchased an echelon at costco and after two years, and constant failed attempts to update and fix the issue, my bike is a paperweight. Because the bike does not log stats or adjust resistance without logging in, the technical issues that prevent me from logging in, connecting to the network or connecting to the bike from my screen prevent any use whatsoever. Customer service is not good, they do not stand by their products or take responsibility to issues. Even when working, with fiber internet and a fast connection, workouts pause, freeze or reset. I highly recommend purchasing a different connected fitness bike that doesn’t require the use of an application to ride or adjust resistance. The app, although pricey, is also poor, subject to freezing and loss of connection. I believe the company is inevitably headed toward a well deserved bankruptcy and warn anyone from investing in a poor product or non-refundable subscription.

Love the instructors, classes and community. But anytime there is an app update something stops working. I have no issues on my connected bike but if I use the app on Apple it’s a mess. Before the app wouldn’t show me the leaderboard during live FitPass classes. But at least I could take classes. Now the FitPass OD doesn’t show classes created in the last 6 months!!! It’s so terrible since I pay for this and can’t use it. Super frustrating.

I’ve been paying for a subscription for 5 years… the app stopped working at the end of June and no one responds to my emails or chat messages requesting help. Update: after nearly two months, and over 20 emails back and forth with echelon, I still do not have access to my account. I just signed up for a new subscription for $10 more per month than i was locked in to. i'm guessing they kicked me out so i'd be forced to pay 39.99 instead of 29.99? and i dont have a choice bc the bike is useless without a subscription. bottom line- horrific customer service. but what else can i do?

Setup is wack, freestyles arent logged, BT might just disconnect and after your done you just have no stats… and no updates from the lazy gang.

I rarely write a review, but this app is bad. Freestyle is buried. It crashes if you have to pause (e.g. interrupted or cramp up? Start over, friend). Instructions are nonexistent, and you can’t ff to resume where it crashed. It doesn’t record calories from past workout, and the UI is a joke. No display of what you output/cadence/effort should be. Also no login without giving up payment.

Since having the bike for three years, the app has not changed materially to improve the UX. Ease of use, bugs, and lacks enhancements.

With shocking consistency, every update to the app results in a less satisfying experience. I love the instructors and their motivation, but the app distracts from their excellence. DATA TILES 1) The ever growing size of the data tiles means the screen is very crowded and obscures the instructor unless they are situated perfectly in the center. 2) The tiles are so crowded sometimes data text overlaps, making reading difficult. This could easily be fixed by simply reducing the size of the tiles. They could be shrunk 20-25% without modification to the font size. LEADERBOARD Replacing the traditional leaderboard with a simple “% in the pack” is a huge downgrade. Please consider the option to return to the proper leaderboard. Thank you.
