Eight-Minute Empire, by Ryan Laukat, is a quick Civilization/Exploration game using card-driven area control.
In Eight-Minute Empire, 2-5 players take turns selecting a card from the six displayed. This card gives the player a resource, and also has an action which the player takes immediately. Actions help players take over the map, but the resources are worth points at the end of the game, so players have to balance the two aspects. Players spread across the map in order to collect points at the end of the game by having majority control in regions and continents.
Eight-Minute Empire is the super-quick area control game requiring tough decisions. It’s easy to learn and perfect for when you only have a few minutes.

Игра на троечку, повелся на цену
Не советую т.к. есть более дешёвые версии и они более привлекательны. Iphone xs - вылетает достаточно часто, спасает автосохранение.

Господа. У вас объявлена стоимость 149. В итоге улетело 179 ‘это для тех, кому 30р играют роль.’ А вот основная беда в том, что невозможно поиграть. iPhone X последняя iOS. Постоянные вылеты. Как человеку, впервые скачавшему игру подобного жанра, обидно, честно говоря. Хотелось именно на устройстве поиграть.

Классная игра, но онлайн пустой. Видно только 2 сервера с асинхронным режимом и то, они не запускаются почему то.
Don't start without internet connection
I can't start the game without internet connection. It is crashed when I click on the icon (after 10sec loading).

ОПЕРАТИВНО ИСПРАВИЛИ (Купил игру все работало до покупки пакета карт, теперь не могу начать новую игру (iPad Air и iPhone SE))
Quick, fun, polished
Solid board game port with good multiplayer feature
Ok game but too short!
It's a fun game, balanced. But for 5€ I expect more maps. Only three available & the other cost 2€/map. Greedy guys! Especially for a game being new and not that popular. Making the multiplayer empty with no players to play against.
Silly game
I wrote a review awhile back, and it got deleted. So I will try again. The idea behind this game is good, very good. There is area control, and there is card play. It is all ruined by the ability to move an army through enemy territory as if the enemy wasn’t even there. That’s unrealistic, and silly.
Pretty Much Perfect
Could Acram just take over all digital board game design? The UI is insanely polished. I’ve played the game about a dozen times in 24 hours and I’m ready to take on higher AI difficulty. Edit: one thing I can’t stand about online multiplayer is that you can’t add AI players to a multiplayer game. Seems like this could be done and would make it easier for two people to play online multiplayer but not have to resort to a two player game.
