Eikōn: Ancient Prayers

The most beautiful app I’ve ever seen. More than that, it’s like having a prayer book, lives of the Saints, and icon corner with you all the time. Also, when I had technical difficulties, they worked with me for several days to figure out the problem. They also implemented a feature I wished for (copy and paste), and I think they prayed for me too! Stars and stars for this app.

When adding new prayers (top right button), there is extreme stuttering/lag in the UI when scrolling through prayers to add.

This is THE orthodox app. You can add prayers, add icons, get scripture, psalter readings, saints of the day with their readings, and it all looks incredible. This is a Good Work.

Christ is Risen! This app is designed so beautifully, with a Orthodox prayer corner. Usually, one has a physical one in their house, but sometimes with work and life it is not the case. I catch myself many times, being at work or in the day to day, wishing I could have a prayer corner to humble myself with. All other Christian prayer apps, are nice, but they are either Protestant, or Catholic. Not one was geared towards Holy Orthodoxy. I thank the creator of this very beautiful, well designed and important app.

I love this app! I love the look and the ease of using. I use it often due to having my favorite prayer not in a prayer book I currently own. I was able to add it with the icon I wished. I have enjoyed discovering new prayers through the app as well. The morning prayer is another one of my favorites, along with several of the Saint’s prayers!
