Salons forcing people to use app
Look, I will avoid talking to someone if I can, but things like beauty sometimes you need to clarify. I was booking waxing and tinting and you need to be careful you don’t over pay as they’ve set up packages. Ie ting and brow shape, then say another combo of waxes came to $95, if I booked the wax package and tint separately it’s $70. Massive difference in price. Also, you MUST turn location settings ok for this app to work. If you decline it (for privacy or battery settings) it will time out in google maps on the app and say couldn’t be found and you can’t actually get into the app. You have to put a credit card in.... why not have a pay pal option where your store details can easily pay? It’s annoying and off putting for those that do a lot of (impulse?) shopping online. Lastly, THIS APP DOES NOT GIVE AN OPTION TO BOOK A REMINDER IN YOUR PHONE. What’s the point? If you have to call up and clarify, mess around with working out the differences between wax and beauty packages, put your credit card in, then manually put an appointment into your phone as a reminder? Oh I know, Salons are forcing users to use the app. Reminders and paypal are pretty standard options guys. Lift your game. It’s annoyed me enough to book elsewhere.
