EMBER Smart Heating Control

I have done everything I can to connect this to Wi-Fi. I have followed the instructions in the app. I have reached out to customer care. I have searched countless forums online. Nothing works. This system is absolutely terrible and not fit for purpose avoid avoid avoid at all costs.

Already had EPH WiFi panel and stats installed when I upgraded boiler 3 yrs ago. Only found out about app and plug in ember gateway last week. Bought gateway for €110. Plug and play in 30 mins. Simple. 3 zone heating can be controlled by app from anywhere. Forget nest or hive

I dealt with Alan from technical with an issue I had with my controller. Got everything sorted within a few minutes! Couldn’t be happier 10/10 service

This system gives very poor control over your heating as you can only set 3 on/off periods in the day and, more importantly, you cannot assign a temperature to these. You set a temperature for a zone and that’s it. It occasionally does flakey things, like running on past a scheduled ’off’ time just now. The app is very poor. You’d go a long way to find an app with more bugs. Sometimes you have to make a change (e.g increase temp) multiple times before it actually responds.

I met a technical problem and i reported to the office and Colin Dennehy helped me to solve all the issues and he sent me a new gateway with a handwriting instruction step by step. And then he helped me to fix it by phone. I really appreciate it. It is a great service ! Very warm!

I’ve had this system for a few years, really happy with it. I had one connection issue that I couldn’t resolve on my end. I emailed the support team and Greg came back to me with things to try. After that didn’t work Greg called me up and walked me through a reset of the system. It was very simple and the guidance and assistance was top class. I’m very impressed by the level of support and when it comes to devices like this around the home, support is king. Thanks to Greg and the ember team

Just had this system installed, still at early stages but very happy so far. Needed to get the app up and running after installation, contacted EPH controls, spoke to Greg who was extremely helpful, got it sorted for me and told me to call back if I had any issues (which I haven’t). Great customer service! App is pretty user friendly. All in all, a happy customer. Thank you Greg and EPH!

We had our gas boiler replaced a couple of years back and for the 1st time had the benefit of having Smart controls in the house. The Ember system is very easy to use. The initial set up was simple and the killer benefit is the Phone App. Very easy to change , modify or boost the water and heat timings. I had reason to contact Ember for customer service - changed Modem - and that was excellent. Super system.

EPH has done an excellent job with this system, couldn’t recommend it highly enough, never had any issue with it, it’s user friendly and easy to install with no ongoing subscription. Great to have remote connectivity to control and add and delete users on the the app. Definitely without doubt the best domestic heating system management app on the market. Great work EPH!

Just got the ember system installed. Excellent system. Not sure how to programme timers so contacted EPH controls and the service was super….spoke with Greg who was fantastic…so much you can control from the app.
