Encouraging Word

The best ever! So glad this app is a part of my daily quiet time.

I installed the Encouraging Word app during the pandemic and it changed my life! I still read it daily before I start my day, and it helps me focus and it truly encourages me and helps me get through each day. It would really me nice if the app would rotate to when I rotate my iPad.

I love this to do it every day. I noticed that the date is off by one day. For instance, today is April 4 and the app loads the April 5 Devo. Not a big deal, just wanted you to know.

Have this app on my iPhone and on my wife’s iPad. I generally use it on the iPad. Lately when it opens up it’s opens to the day after the actual date. Never did that before. Usually when I opened the app it would open on the right date. Don’t know what the problem is. I deleted it and reinstalled it twice but it still doesn’t open to the correct date.

The Devotional is a great piece, with great depth and illumination. It builds your knowledge of the Word, and inspires you every time.

What would make it more perfect is if the author would actually update it with new devotions. These are 4 years old! Just completed one year (from April 2023 to April 2024) and disappointed to see that I’ve already read the rest. What’s going on? Why no update?
