Quit 278 days ago (as of writing this review 6/2024). I used this app solely to keep track of the money saved, as an extra motivator. I checked the app today to see my savings, and sponsored on the front page was a little anecdotal saying they were so happy they quit, and giving me a few words of encouragement. So sweet! I wanted to give back like that person gave to me, so I went to the community to give a word of encouragement to others. PAYWALL BLOCKED. NO ACCESS ALLOWED. RESTRICTED. CANNOT COMMENT UNLESS PAID. Unless you pay them monthly, quarterly, or flat out buy a lifetime membership, you CANNOT give encouraging words to others. You cannot support others going through the same struggles you went through. This app lets you do everything EXCEPT support others. What a terrible terrible design. Learning this, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they were owned by big tobacco, just trying to get one more cent out of their addicts. Read into that as you will. I don’t recommend this app, even being nicotine free.

There’s a bug not allowing me to get past the first section before the actual app. When I try to enter how many days a bottle of e-liquid lasts it gets stuck and the keyboard won’t close effectively locking the app. I don’t have this issue anywhere else so I think it’s probably a minor bug. Hopeful this can be resolved so I can try it out!

I would love to access the premium features but there is no way for me to do so. The app won’t load a pay screen, it just shows me the options and I cannot click anything from there.

This app has helped me millions. I needed some motivation to quit and this has just that

I had vaped for nearly seven years, and this app has been the only thing motivating me not to hit a vape. The money saved, the days vape free, and motivational sections had helped me tremendously. I’ve tried countless other apps, and I haven’t had near the success I’ve had with this one. I’ve not been without my vape in my pocket for an hour for the longest time, and I’m now 14 days vape free. I know that’s not a lot, but I feel like a whole new person. I no longer have to hide in the bathroom, hitting that garbage anymore. I can actually live my life. Thank you, Escape The Vape, for helping my on my quitting journey.

I like this app. It’s very good

I know this may be soon, but I just downloaded this app earlier today. I was not planning to quit today but just wanted to see how the app was. I love it. I had fun setting up my profile even though I was still really nervous to quit. Just a little bit ago(like maybe 15 minutes or so), I was looking at the motivation screen on the app and clicked on the “Okay, get a grip” button. This may sound silly but after a few gifs one of Obama saying “so don’t wait.” popped up and it clicked in my brain. And then, I looked at my tv and I’ve been watching Kitchen Nightmares, but the owner of the restaurant was an ex smoker and had one of those things in her throat that they have to push to talk with, and I know that was God telling me to do it NOW and to not wait too late. It’s 5 am now, and I just threw away my vape and my cart. I’m still anxious for what’s to come because I know it’s a difficult road but I need to do this for my health. You can do it too! You’re amazing and so worth it, treat your body like a temple 🤍 we may get a new body when we go to Heaven but it’s foolish to treat this one bad. You deserve to be loved and you deserve to treat and love yourself!

this app is helping me realize that i am way better off without nicotine and my life doesn’t depend on it something that can give me lung cancer.
