For those who are playing without a controller, I can feel your pain because I played the game on mobile touchscreen as well. I recommend ONLY buying this game if there is a price drop; otherwise, skip it. Putting aside some frustrating areas (Slyph forest for example), the terrible controls presents a challenge at a few points in the game such as the airplane shooter, pacman in Professor G’s lab, side fighting parts against Prophet and Captain’s Ababa pirate area, rhythm game in Magus’s castle, etc…that is a lot of frustrating areas. The 3D parts aren’t very fun during the because the graphics and controls aren’t refined (felt like oceanhorn 1). Some people like that the game incorporates so many game genres into it but not me. This is because we all have certain genres we don’t like so there are some parts in the game that aren’t enjoyable to me and I had no choice but to push past those points and never look back at it again just to continue the storyline. Overall, an average game at best in my opinion even though there are some parts that are fun (top view gameplays, side view dungeon, card games, etc).

When I was play the game that game is the most enjoyable game I ever played but right now I redownload it and the graphics of the game is blur and hard to see and the game is always crashes hope you fix it btw I use ip 6

Enjoyed playing this! Though I wished that the puzzles could be much easier. Had to google them up to pass certain stages.

I’ve played and completed this game tons of times and get a different experience each time because of how many things there are to find and collect. But there’s a glitch with getting the ice key fragment. Whenever I try and do a match and attempt to do a special attack, the game crashes. This makes it hard to defeat any of the wikings. Overall it’s a great game with tons of puzzles, it’d be great if you were able to fix the glitch.

The game itself is amazing but the Apple TV version is several versions behind iOS so the saves aren’t cross-platform. Please fix!!

The first Evoland was fun and fresh, and felt like there was always something neat around the corner. This one sort of cut all the stuff that made the first one good and replaced it with a generic little old-school Zelda-style action game with only minor references to the past mechanics (like the opening scene). I was hoping to get some of the same gimmicky fun of the first one, but this one seems to have gone in a completely different direction. I’ve only played it for a couple of hours, to be fair, but in that time aside from the opening the “evo” gimmick popped up once, in a not very noticeable way. I spent the last 40 minutes pixel-hunting for the final 6th item I’m supposed to be finding in a forest where everything looks the same. The level design in this area is terrible. The combat controls are also quite bad, although the combat is mostly sort of a secondary thing and is never very difficult (even if you’re getting hit a lot because the controls are bad). Maybe it was designed to work with a gamepad, idk. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend it based on what I’ve played, especially when the original Evoland exists and is much cheaper and more fun.
