Explain Everything Basics

App has lot of features especially recording feature which makes it unique but at end the basics is missing. Say for instance why cant you make this app like a Note taking presentation maker. What i mean apps like Guga and Goodnotes (even basic apple notes) have much better writing options. Also the writing experience is messy and not well thought of. When i move canvas the pen size randomly adjusts to something which I dont want. There is no way to lock the canvas. Adding to this the writing experience is worse to nothing. You could have simply copied the Apple freeform, and I cant believe you have been here for so long and never been told about this?. 2000rs price is Totally unjustified with such a writing experience? Why? You definitely need a quick update to work on the basics. Provide the best writing experience, provide different pen types, Give options to Adjust size, fix canvas and ability of User to write the way they want. I dont know if you can replicate the writing experience Goodnotes provides but you certainly can do better than this. I hope you want take this serious advice as joke, If you have better writing experience than Explain everything can also act as Note taking canvas. I dont know if you have realized that or not?

No option to undo editing mistakes, its a very bad app. I have lost much of my hardwork because there is no undo option in the editing timeline.

The problems with the app: 1. Screen tap and gestures show while writing,but disappear in the recorded video. 2. When I zoom in the hand written texts,the texts look blurry.

A best and world class application. No one can provide such kind of great facilities in single app.Thank you very much developers.

Was a satisfied user for two years. After update to IPad OS 15, it started crashing!!

This app has almost everything. I had made videos by using good notes app using built in screen recorder. And most of the time I have use the feature of laser pointer. That is we can write anything we want on the screen using that laser pointer and best part is that it remains on the screen for 2 seconds so that we can use some previous formulae of math to show on the screen. So it is easy to students to understand from where the next step comes from while doing math.

Please add a feature where there is a hand or an arrow showing the position of the Apple Pencil tip while writing. It will make it easier to follow while viewing the video recording. An arrow or a hand should not be visible to me while writing because it makes it difficult to view the screen but it should be added to viewer view or the recorded video. The viewer is confused where to look for in the video or where is the writing going to be next. I know there is a laser option but that has a different purpose. The gesture option makes it difficult for the writer to write because it blocks the view and it is irritating to watch the animation effect on the gesture and also it is visible in a recorded video only with external screen recorder and not using the internal video record option. Please do the needful. Otherwise it’s awesome. Thank You for this lovely App. It has everything a teacher needs to create wonderful educational videos.

Earlier I purchased subscription of this App but it was not functioning proprly. It was not showing descriotions and marks of stylus. Now I though that Explain Edu should not having any problem since its rating is 4.6 so purchased it but this App has same problem and quality of my video lectures is worst. I am repenting for having purchased this App. I strongly discourage buyers. I recommend other Apss

I know there's a template for ruled pages but if you can provide options of displaying ruled pages just for the instructors use (still invisible while exporting videos and pdf just like the side panels which don't show in screen recording) then that would be awesome as my handwriting would look better and my sentences would look straight and not tilted badly due to no ruling on blank pages So in short plz provide an option for "ghost" ruled lines. And teaching would become more systematic.
